    I wouldn't mind the class going back to a "true" support; however, that would really hurt during lower levels since groups only have room for 2 DPS. I actually rolled a bard thinking it would have much more spell-weaving/debuffing/buffing going on during combat. As you said, I enjoy my class as is, but it's definitely not what I expected. I hope they really look at the class and what they see for it's future instead of doing a flat-out nerf.

    The best thing that SE can do is add cast time to blood letter or a debuff while we are moving but nerfing damage is not a great idea, we really don't have so much damage is the movility why we can parse equal than other melee dps the thing here is that the battle mechanics are not equal for all classes but this is going to change too so I really don't think that putting the thing easier to a melee dps and nerfing damage to a range dps will solve the issue, We will se where the things go in PVP I only hope that SE don't get the Bard useless

    Actually changing the mechanics to be easier on melee is probably the only part I don't agree with. If they nerf one thing they don't really need to nerf the mechanics.

    Well no there are some parts like in coil where the healers are sometimes too busy on the tanks like in turn 4 when 1 tank has 2 dreadnoughts on him for a short period. I also find it that alot of times our monk and blackmages say in vent "Don't bother healing me concentrate on the tank" and they take care of themselves. I'd like to be the one doing that.

    This was also the case back when my clique only had minimum gear and experience doing titan. Sometimes 1 healer would be dead and after Gaol was broken he wouldn't be able to dispel the debuff you got for fear of the tank dying. I think it'd be great if we were there to help with that as well.

    All of this is just my opinion and I'm sure many bards don't agree.

    I'm sure the devs don't collect any data from the game and then compare it with their intended projections of where they want things to be in the game. I'm sure the entirety of their balance decisions are based off forum threads.

    Well, they did say warriors were performing fine and changed their opinions after everyone stopped playing them.

    as a BLM i don't think BRDs need a nerf. comparing with actual fights and not parsing i think MNKs and DRGs rather need a buff. their damage feels kinda low to me (limit aside).
