    Oh my bad, I'm so used to gear questions being about Myth/Allagan. Judging from the STR stats (which tend to be capped on crafted gear) I imagine it would slightly favor Darklight, but the differences would be so small it would barely matter.

    HQ crafted gear with melds is BiS for the ilvl 70 tier. They share the same defense/mdef/STR/VIT values as DL.

    This is just my two cents, but you may want to make a wardrobe profile on xiv.db for the current BiS list and just update that. Here's an example of it.

    Current DRG BiS Wardrobe.

    not true they do not share all the same stats and paying the amount needed for HG 50 gear is rediculous compared to just getting you DL
