parsing in CM huh.. that's a real accurate damage baseline lollll

there are many dragoons with gear similar or better to yours and they parse consistently in the 250-270 range like rexun said (single target without lb, lol). you're not the amazing player who somehow can legitimately shit out more damage than people who are 1. Better Experienced(also skilled) and 2. Better Geared than you, so please get over yourselfand stop shitting up the thread with your (amusing) FC defense force. you should probably keep using that buggy parser so they keep worshiping you though

I know about a similar situation, where the parser added mutliple DOTs of other players to the MNKs dps making it go above 350+.
Couldnt it be that the same happened here with 370+ dps? Not disbelieving or anything, just pointing that out.

Your write up has been extremely handy for me as Lancer (in a way, it's even helped with the other classes). I've been referring people to this thread who are interested in becoming Dragoons just as I am.

There is one thing I wish you had in one of your initial posts, though, and that is the definition for all of the different acronyms. While I can figure out which move the acronyms stand for, having a sort of "acronym dictionary" would probably be of great help for all the baby Lancer/Dragoons out there.

The guide uses full terms for all abilities when they're first mentioned with acronyms in brackets, then acronyms from that point onwards. Far as I know the guide uses no acronyms without first using the full term.

Thanks to the OP, the rotations have been immensely helpful. I have removed Fr from my rotation for now, usually have to fiddle with position for ID so I lose HT bonus before FT.

Sorry about not staying on topic, but I figured I'd ask my quick questions here instead of opening a new thread.

1) What are the best stats besides STR on gear? (does this post still hold strong today?)
2) What does Determination do exactly and how to calculate what (for example) would +20 Determination on a gear piece improve for me?
3) There are 2 lvl60 gear sets drops in AK (Haitaros and Peltast), main difference is that one has balanced physical and magic defences and the other one is focused on a very high p.def and lower m.def. Which one do I pick as a lancer?

1) Those numbers are indeed accurate, and are in the guide.

2) There are calculators that allow you to manipulate your stats and see how your damage would change (http://valk.dancing-mad.com)

3) They both have equal STR values, so I would mix and match depending on what you need in terms of accuracy, and which piece is the most valuable using the previously discussed stat weights. If you're aiming for defense stats, which shouldn't factor in too much but that is your choice, I'd aim for an even mix of physical and magical.
