Ryios, just because it's an MMO doesn't mean people play it just to play with others. Personally i'd LOVE to be able to do everything on my own or with 1-2 friends. As most of you know, a lot of people on FFXIV are rather mean, and not really worth talking to. Now i know not all are mean, i've meet a few nice ones, but i met far more nasty ones. I play MMO's because it's a never ending game. A game i could put 1,000's of hours in and still not complete everything. A game i pay 15$ a month for and it'll constantly have new content to keep me ( and others) playing it. Not speaking for FFXIV specificly, just MMO's in general.

Why not just accept that the limitations you yourself are putting on the game mean that you won't get to experience everything? Should someone who demands that they always be allowed to play with their 8-man permagroup never have to do solo content?

There's a beauty and elegance in the simplicity of charging straight into that one and only one goal. How could you stand just playing one class on the initial playthrough? I know I can't. When I imagine the time you spent in DF queues, I am actually impressed by your tenacity. A single deviation for level 6 lancer, presumably because the elitists are mocking you about level 34 lancer and lack of blood for blood right about now. Not a single DoH, DoL class. You didn't even try on the gear. Amazing sense of purpose.
(*I honestly don't know if I'm being sarcastic or not, the forums certainly will take it that way.)

But with that sort of willpower, I'm sure you can accomplish fate grinding. Somebody said it before, but yes zones are empty. Any FATEs that are not single big boss should be easy enough to accomplish without a group, but it will be slower XP since the zerg isn't around. Until level 15ish, self chain 5 is a good goal and fills in FATE downtime easily. If you have another player to join with, even better.

Easy solution to this one: Do it all now! Farm those FATEs until your fingers bleed, and then farm some more. Best MMO 2013.

Lol level 1 hunting log should take you to around 7.
It takes 20 minutes to get to 15, with the 50% exp boost if you have a 50. Then you can use Helm of Light or FC exp boost etc.

I would like daily's though.

The 50% exp boost is if you have any char even 1 level higher than the current combat class.

Trying to level THM from 15 to 16 and have a lv 16 PGL? +50% bonus.

I can solo the low level Fates if I'm not too overeager, why can't you ?

It takes 20 minutes to get to 15, with the 50% exp boost if you have a 50.

It's incredible the amount of rubbish people spout these days, high on their awesome horse.

Doing the FIRST quest at level 1 (the kill these 3 mobs 3 times and come back) easily takes the best of 7 minutes alone, and take you to level 3-4 only.
I have 2 50 (so i had the bonus), was wearing the helm and riding a mount between location.

So unless you can pop almost a level per MINUTE i can hardly see how your claim has any sense of foundation.

That's when you do Guildhest's... oh wait 90 minute queues for DPS.

FATE's don't scale well for healer classes because if you're around 100 other players doing the same fate, the monster is dead before you even finish casting anything but Aero.

Oh wait, you can actually select all 4 languages and do both dungeons and guildhests even as DPS with a lot less wait time. Imagine that.

Aero... really? That's how you are trying to get experience in fates as a cnj/whm? That would explain why you aren't getting very much in fates rating. Try... healing... (imagine that, though I suppose if you are on a PS3 at that point it is a little bit harder than just clicking on a person who doesn't have full health and casting cure) I pull off gold ratings (solo) not even doing any damage in fates. Sure its useful for simply tagging monsters in fates as long as you get the first hit, but healing gets you much more fate credit than aero ever will.
