Only people left are FFXI nerds, no wonder this thread only gets 3 likes and no wonder this game only gets like 3 players.
Too bad my linkshell has over 60 people and my friend's around 40. Most never touched XI in their life. Sorry I've yet to see a compelling argument that Jump will "save" this game and that Jump is 100x more important than fixing the game and adding content.
Yeah well go play tomb raider and get back to me
Yeah man. Us FFXI nerds. We better go get laid so we can be cool AM I RITE BRAH? WHERE'S THE KEG?
This game is shit but you don't NEED jump to make a good game. Maybe that's just WoW nerd talk?
While I would prefer to have jumping, as others have said it's not really needed (then again, neither was the weird cliff walking they added).
More importantly, adding jumping isn't as simple as adding an animation. They would have to basically redesign every zone in the game to account for it.
Because there isn't a compelling argument that can be made. Demanding jump and pushing it as some game-saving addition is just retarded & whiny. No other way to put it.
Well they better get to work. Hurry up already SE.While I would prefer to have jumping, as others have said it's not really needed (then again, neither was the weird cliff walking they added).

Personally, I'm glad to see that they lowered the priority of the jump feature. Sure, it makes certain aspects of the game better (maneuverability, exploration). However at this point in time, FFXIV needs a game changer and I don't think the jump feature has the ability to do that.
