I'm delaying my Castrum Meridianum duty because of this. Until I find more people willing to see the scenes and kill the bosses together, I'll not proceed with the story.

Yeah why would we ever want to use the Dungeon Finding tool to run a Dungeon? Sounds pretty silly.

It really is a shame that the "endgame" has been setup like this, IE the speed run gear grind is the same as the awesome story line ending, but honestly you need to grow up. When you have a ton of people together you aren't going to find 100% nice people, this is an MMORPG and those people aren't scripted for your pleasure, part of playing an online game is having the maturity to deal with people without crying to the forums / GMs / SE. I would love to see all the people who would rather flame than help vanish from these games but it won't happen, you just have to live with it and try to find people you enjoy playing with.

It's completely illogical for people to have to look for story groups in shout than it is for people to look for speed-run groups in shout. There is a substantially greater pool of people to draw from who AREN'T running it for the first time than those who are. It makes no sense to tell people who want to watch cut-scenes to shout for a group. No. The burden is upon you to find people who want to skip them. Not the other way around. To disagree is to disagree with logic itself.

SE makes a Check box for duty finder that opts if you are okay with skipping a cut scene.

'DF is so broken!! It takes 3 hours to find a party!!' (because such a low number of people want to watch the CS or do a slower run)

Why can't you just look at what the weather was like today from the news at the end of the day instead of going outside?

Or just watch the CS's and screw what everyone else says. Personally I don't rush people since it's rude and I personally don't care since I SR CM usually with alcohol in my system (totally awesome).

But like people said, the majority of the players that do CM are speed runners and so its faster to do it through DF than make your own group. Only benefit of a group is that people are held accountable for being dicks and you can gear check them for faster runs.

This topic has been covered many times before and it's due to the fact that CM is the easiest way to get 100 tomes via DF. Prae has to be done incredibly well to be faster and more efficient, otherwise it's a sloppy mess with randoms.

I did watch the cut-scenes but what ended up happening is that I was just watching cut-scenes back to back and didn't get to do the actual boss fights between them which ultimately ruined the entire experience, as I stated in my original post.

I don't get it...

Because all cutscenes donnot show in the inn room as a tank if I find there are new people in the group that want to watch cutscenes I love that I can help them out by not forcing them to skip them. If you wanna speed run dont use DF make your own group its easier to put together than a story group
