I'm rather tired of this already (it has been discussed a lot and neither side is going to give up and change their stance), so I'll just post two analogies.
1) One of your friends buys a movie and asks you to watch it together. As you've already seen that movie ten times, you tell him/her to fast forward it to skip all the dialogues and whatnot so you can just watch the cool action scenes (and if not you get angry). Then you tell your friend that s/he can watch the movie again when s/he's alone, or watch the key moments on YouTube.
2) You go to the theater to watch a movie that you've already seen because they give you some special limited gift by attending. Once inside, you keep talking loudly with your friends and, when people ask you to let them watch the movie as they haven't seen it yet, you tell them to fuck off and just rewatch it later or buy it and watch it at home.
That's what you're asking people to do with their story when you tell them to watch those cutscenes at a later time. If you don't understand what I mean with those analogies, then trying to explain it is a waste of time.
