You're missing the point. It's about the increased enmity, not the damage.

That doesn't really negate my point, which was that you can play however you like, as long as it's not a detriment to the group. The OP of this thread in particular was shown to be wrong about his rotation, but I really wouldn't care unless there's some DPS check we're failing.
    Yes, I agree with this.

My mistake, I didn't realize you randomly changed the subject. In case you missed it, the argument over the past several pages was that it was worth it for a PLD to be in Sword Oath to clear trash mobs in dungeons faster. Even putting aggro aside, it's not worth it because you are sacrificing damage reduction for damage that does not offset the damage a healer could do if they had to you heal you less.
I have not changed the subject.
My line of thought was that with increased enmity your DD could restrain less, increasing the over all damage of the party.

To be honest I shouldn't even have brought that up, sorry.

//m that not true world of warcraft that cant even know where to begin because it has a long list//

graphics is the only thing that FFXIV has beaten WoW at, and that's because WoW uses a very old graphics engine for the game. (crafting too)

when it comes to gameplay and dungeons, WoW is exponentially superior. sure the rotations are somewhat easy (ffxiv is easier btw), but the min-maxing is a lot more complex than FF thus gives the classes a higher skill cap to achieve. if you're going to compare this game's dungeons and raid finder, then hands down FF has WoW beat at that, but raid finder is not the difficulty that WoW has to offer, the heroic mechanics of raids in WoW are beautifully done (at least most of it) than any that is being offered by FFXIV.

and yes, this is an out of topic high jack to aggrandize WoW because I was really hoping this game would beat it, but it did not.
