    Please Fix the Raise Animation!

There is nothing more annoying as a healer to Raise someone and then the enemy to do a weak aoe that kills the raisee again (and its not nice for their gear either).

I don't know if DPS and Tanks know this but in the same way you can't move until the Raise animation has finished, Healers cannot target you until it has finished either.. and I don't mean feet touching the ground, there is about a 2 second delay between a raisee's feet touching the ground and them being targetable. So adding on to those two seconds the 3-4 seconds they are technically alive and can be hit by aoe while raising, you have a pretty large period when they cannot receive a heal.

Too many times I have fired off a heal on a raisee and it gone on me instead (because it didnt have a target) and then the raisee gets hit by aoe.

The immobility is fine, you are being raised from the dead!! lol but they really need to fix the healing part

That's one thing I like about SCH and Raising. The Faerie will target the person you raised almost right away and get some heals through. It may not always be fast enough, but it is useful.

Things like that won't matter on some encounters, the point made is still valid in terms of the delay.

Raise someone and move away only for boss to randomly toss their "f u, stay dead" move while I wasted 2 cures on myself trying to heal them. Good times indeed....

funny how, as a lvl 50 conjurer for quite some time I've never had the problem ^^

but I guess it's totally not the players fault for not being in the right position

I'm not denying a well positioned raise or accepting at the right time is okay, but there are generally encounters where it won't matter where you raise them and not being able to heal them for that 1-2 seconds can result in that person dying. It's not ground breaking but it can be at times annoying.

That's why you don't let anyone drop OP, or you learn to Raise at a safe point in the fight. Or the person accepting learns when it's safe to res.

The animation lock is like penalty for letting someone drop or for the person who died cause they stood in the aoe or whatever.

That's down to the content you haven't seen yet.

In some respects I agree with you, the animation lock on raise is well deserved punishment, it shouldn't be easy to get people standing and the current need to be careful when you click accept is spot on. Raising into plumes, landslide or incinerate is just a waste of everyones time and mp.

On the flipside, I also disagree with you in some regards, I should be able to heal someone who is mid raise as on some encounters they are likely just going to die to silly chip damage spam such as ADS' vacuum wave and short of some lucky fairy heals theres not an awful lot I can do about it.
