Sometimes, I just want to quest.

But I can't... because they are all gone.

The only efficient way to level my alts is fates, and fates a boring mindless aoe nonsense.

    -Bump up leve exp
-Reset Guild Hest per class, no character
    -Increase dungeon exp by 300%

Reset side-quests for every zone once you swap class please... I'm looking forward to leveling a Paladin one day, but knowing I'm just gonna horde fates all day is really putting me off.

Although I agree with FATEs being dull, I have to say Quest are right on par with that. Dull. Here's my suggestion to add with your suggestions.

-Bring back Beastmen like camps filled with dangerous mobs (more so then dungeons) that give great exp/chains for parties.
-Bring back the option to group exp (Not FATEs.)
-Agree with the Increased Dungeon Exp. (Because right now dungeons are pointless when you can hit 50 naked with FATEs)
-Leves I hated them in v1, I still hate them in v2. Pointless Quest.
-Guildhest were fun and amusing and the exp was decent.

I never did a guildhest. Forgot they existed because the first time it popped up I had just joined an FC and thought it was just a party invite and, after getting flustered, closed it and that was that. Are they any good? Are people generally like early-level DF folk, or the more late-level folk?

I think guildhests should reset once a day, but I agree with these suggestions, dungeon exp needs buffed by an INSANE amount, I personally think 1 dungeon should give almost 1 full level, considering in the time it takes to queue for a dungeon, teach people how to do it, and finish it, you could have potentially gained 1-2 levels from doing fates, especially if you're a DPS solo queueing. Add a "bonus" at the end of dungeons kind of like WOW/gw2, where you get a chest with consumables/cosmetics/unique dye colors/fireworks/fun items/seals/exp scrolls for battle jobs like the GC ones for crafting/gathering/crafted mats(that are used for cosmetic crafted gear, so need to add recipes) and HUGE bonus exp for completion, this completion should be about a full level of exp if you are within +/-4 of the dungeons level, so you need to constantly do the newest dungeons and can't just spam the easiest to level.

No, they don't. I've ran dungeons with a full premade of 4 well geared/played characters some level 50 helping us out and the exp/hour is patheric, it takes 4-5 dungeon runs to level up ONCE per level 21-50 and each dungeon run is 25-30 mins long, fates are almost 6 times the exp per hour of running dungeons.

Compared to almost all the other exp sources this game has I have to disagree wholeheartedly.
You can make considerably more exp spamming AoE attacks in Fates in the same time it takes you to run through a dungeon.

Personally I would love to see the dungeons get an exp boost as I would really like to play in group formation a bit more than I do now.
I know the mechanics of my job, but I notice that I am really lacking the group play experience in this game and this doesn't only hinder myself.

Quests, like the kind where you pick up 6 coins off the ground? Or perhaps the long and difficult ones where you pick up a bucket, drop the bucket in water, fill the bucket, pick up the bucket, and hand it to someone? Now I admit I have a soft spot for kill 66 enemies while using the rusted greatsword and perhaps kill 5 of each of three types of monsters, but if SE doesn't pick up the difficulty on these a bit, I'd rather they don't put anymore quests back in the game at all. We know they can do good ones because many of the duties/quest steps are fairly clever and have a nuanced aspect, but FFXIV open world quests are awful compared to most MMOs.

I find FATEs much more interesting than "kill three coblyns", when the challenge of doing the "kill three coblyns" has been taken out because there is no competition since everyone is swarming FATEs.

Quests in this game are not like that. The numbers are small and the circles are not in difficult locations. Do all the circles, return to hub, lots of xps for turn ins. That's why mine are gone, I was like, EASY STUFF when i was leveling my first character.

I tried to fate grind last night, sitting around at the Aetheryte and racing people to get to each fate circle in time is not fun to me. I'd rather spam battleleves to be honest.

I haven't FATE grinded myself yet, still working on leveling a class up via questing. It does not sound fun, nor look fun. If they'd somehow scale these Fates or make them more interesting, perhaps.

It would be nice to see some alternate leveling methods, whether exp in dungeons are increased or something new.
