I don't think so. I may be wrong, but if I remember correctly WP bosses drop ilvl55 armor pieces (other than accesories), the exception being the Tonberry King himself that drops ilvl55 weapons, and coffers in there drop allagan pieces, relic precursor pieces, random mats and a pet.

Wanderers Palace drops iLevel 55 gear, so you can start replacing your AF with that. Although it is not neccesary for finishing CM nor Prae. As others have said before, improve your jewelry. Personally I had 2 HQ Amber Rings with +6 melded strength (one STR materia III one STR Materia II) Similar for neck and wrist. You can get Tier III materia quite cheap, and the HQ Amber rings are not that expensive either.

Gear Progression is as follow:

AF -> Wanderers Palace (ilvl55) -> Andapoor Keep (ilvl60) -> Darklight (ilvl70) -> Allagan/AF2 (ilvl90)

Before heading to Andapoor Keep I would also recommend farming Ifrit or Garuda Sword, both fights are doable in AF Wanderers Gear.

Also, go ahead and get your relic weapon base. You won't get the quest until you finish the story, but you can use it until then. It's probably better than what you have now. You may also be lucky and get a darklight weapon from WP, or clear AK once and get your GC weapon.
