You could tank CM with that quite easily. Just get HQ Amber accessories.
Remember when you do CM runs you can convert those accessories to materia for your relic or sell them at a profit. I always replace my jewellery for materia.

You should have some decent accessories, but you do not require them. I solo tanked CM and Prae with garbage accessories as a WAR in full AF. I didn't even touch Wanderer's Palace until afterwards. Better accessories make it a little easier, but not required.
Your gear is fine and should have no problems tanking it. Next time tell the whiners to leave and get replacements. Those that want to be PICKY spam at Trolls for now days FULL DL + Relic ONLY... they make me laugh.
let me tell you something, If you have full AF armor your just golden. There is nothing in CM NOR preatoruim that will end you if you have crap accessories. I've never seen it, never gunna see it. If anything will kill you in CM or preatoruim it will be bad playing by speed runners trying to do a gimmick to speed run faster.
Oh and further more... LET the fools cry and leave... EVEN if the whole entire party leaves, just stay, you WILL find a replacement party in no time flat because people LOVE doing CM unfinished runs because they possibly might cut the time to get to the final boss in the arena by a substantional amount.

Tanking CM really doesn't require much gear at all. Starter 50 gear is fine for it. Just remember to rotate your cooldowns and make liberal use of your stun.
You'll have more trouble holding threat off your group members than you will with the amount of damage you're taking, and for that reason I suggest getting whomever you're paired with to take OT duty unless they're similarly inexperienced. Getting threat on half a dozen adds that are being AoE'ed down by the group is much harder than getting single target threat on a boss.
The only way damage gets out of hand is if you're playing sloppy and taking hits you don't want to take.
This is especially true if your DPS/Heals like running around with ADDs on their face before you've grouped them all together. Cid always seems to be in less danger than the rest of my party in that case...
you will be fine w/ AF1 set and 25 ish accessory, that i had on when i first do CM anyway. there nothing in CM that will hit you hard enough for you to get 49 ring/necklace/etc... anyway. no point in spend money on that. for tanking AK, just have some darklight piece (belt and glove) and WP weapon, GC, or iffit weapon then you will be good to go. oh and if you have problem holding aggro check the DPS weapon first. if they using relic weapon and not holding back then it will be really hard for you to hold aggro.
Also, go ahead and get your relic weapon base. You won't get the quest until you finish the story, but you can use it until then. It's probably better than what you have now. You may also be lucky and get a darklight weapon from WP, or clear AK once and get your GC weapon.
I ran CM with fresh lvl 50 gear and lvl 49 accessories. It's not hard, usually you'll have someone with better gear so they'll end up leading and MTing. As an off tank you'll end up just flashing the shit outta adds and stacking in the middle while everyone aoe's them down.
So just stack vit with regular quality. Also you might want to look at the prices of accessories and shields so you can convert them to materia when you're done. That helps cover the repairs you'll suffer from. I basically buy multiple earrings, rings, bracelets and shields so I can convert and sell. So far after getting like 2500 tomes I've managed to make some money while just doing CM straight.
You can also try to run Ifrit HM with the same stuff you run for CM to get yourself an ifrits blade. That does make a difference when spamming flash the entire time.

Yup, your gear and acc are good enough for CM.
Did it as a WAR with slightly worse gear than that and it was fine. if you have AF, what gets you killed are speed runners not making any effort to adjust and then blaming you... (ie. DPS going all out with high level weapons and healers spamming Holy instead of healing you...)
