Your gear is perfectly fine for tanking CM. It is roughly what I was wearing when I started running it. And you are right, the questline blues are what are intended to be brought into CM, as CM is a gearing dungeon for your next set up. I have a couple of DL pieces now and am close to getting my first double piece (either chest/helm or legs/feet). My accessories and weapon are similarly weak, but I'm working on them as well.

Oddly enough, being main tank in CM is much easier than being off tank. I find it odd that the strongest tanks in CM often seem to insist that they main tank, possibly out of misplaced bravado, even when it is not the best solution for the group. The oddest situation is the first half of the 2-part final boss fight, where the best solution is to have a healer tank, since the boss does virtually zero damage and have the two tanks on each side picking up the adds. In 3 of my CM runs today the top dog tank insisted on 'tanking' the boss, and then proceeded to sit down on the ground in front of her doing nothing.

Personally, I love it when I find myself paired up with a fresh 50 tank new to CM. I like taking the time to show the newbie the ropes, to pass along what several very experienced CM tanks did to help me when I was first in there.

If I'm doing farming runs I usually drop all my gear and go with lvl 49 crafted whites to spiritbond. CM is incredibly easy and boring. You don't need any set gear for it and it can be done in AF and 49 whites no problem

Honestly I didn't think CM was supposed to be any sort of gear check, I was still in HQ heliodor accessories/AF armor and didn't have any issues. If you're going in a group that wants to speed run farm it, maybe look at upgrading a few pieces, but honestly nothing in there hits hard enough that you should have to worry about being tricked out in DL or anything.
