Woah now, avid has not beaten turn five. We are "progressing", but that's some misinformation.

You get the achievement when you exploit the kill, same as if you did it the right way. Considering his post on "progressing" yes their guild exploited it and now it's on the armory site for all to see.
It's pretty amazing that square did nothing about the exploit itself and considering they're letting more groups do it they actually seem to allow it, what awesome endgame we have where an exploit has to be used to get a kill.

It doesn't have to be used. But this exploit effects all monsters in the game, not just Twintania (probably why they are taking so long) Either way, I expect punishment will befall those who have abused the system. You get the achievement when you exploit the kill, same as if you did it the right way. We're talking about player integrity here.

WTF do you mean the tank has very low health? 5.85k on a paladin means full DL + 2-3 pieces of BC gear (depending on which ones) + relic+1.
That's GOOD.
Now, if the pally only had, say, 5k health, we could talk.

My PLD tank with four pieces of ilvl 90 gear (Curtana + 1, allagan shield, earrings and ring of fending) + full darklight has 6,085 HP with food and party buffs.
That PLD tank in the screenshot has a little less than that to be sitting at 5.8k. At least one or two pieces of Amdapor Keep gear.

He doesn't have a food buff.
So yeah he'd be at about 5.9k ~ 5.95k if he did. Which is about right.
And again, it really depends on which pieces of tanking gear you luck out on having. If you get the chest and legs your HP will skyrocket. If you only get the belt and accessories, your HP isn't gonna climb up very fast.

That really isn't right. The first kill of turn 5 isn't going to be a paladin with 5800hp with ak gear, it will be a paladin with 6300+ hp with dl/ilevel 90's.Look at the screenshot again.
