Every minute in "Eorzea Time" is when everything is applied. DoTs, mana regen ticks, etc. Every minute in "Eorzea Time" is 3 seconds in real life.

That is completely incorrect. A dot will tick after you apply it, but you have no way of knowing how long it will take. It could take 1s, it could take 3s. You should really learn more about the global dot tick before posting more misinformation.
