HM Titan is absolutely a gear check. Denying this helps nobody.

Tanks need HP to survive Mountain Buster
DPS need dmg to break Heart
Heals need magic to heal Tumults.

And AF + GC weapon is enough to do all of this.

• Show me a tank dying to Mountain Buster and I'll show you a group that isn't properly using Virus/Eye for an Eye/Sacred Soil/Adloquium and/or a tank that isn't properly using his cooldowns or being topped off.
• Show me a group that can't break heart and I'll show you a group that isn't properly using their LB/cooldowns, performing optimal DPS rotations and/or dispelling the Goal debuff.
• Show me a group that's dying to Tumults and I'll show you a group that isn't properly using Sacred Soil/Succor and/or healers that aren't properly timing their AoE heals.

Gear is simply a crutch for groups that aren't doing the above.
