Amdapor Keep Changes Unfair

I'm going to do this from my phone so I hope it comes through clear. This is pathetic! This game has the worst, most pathetic community I have seen. WoW players QQ all day about it being to hard or time consuming. FFXI players cry about anything they think is unfair cause Billy got DL gear too fast cause he's a cheata. To the people saying trash is trash, hippogryph skin is a 1* lvl 50 leather synth used in tons of stuff like imperial operative chokers. It sells, when my FC does this we have our leather worker turn it into leather and it covers all repairs and adds to the bank.

One more to dodge post limit. Wander's palace, we craft all the mats into base relics hq and the bank gets 100k richer per run. The real point of my post is to say stop crying like a bunch of little brats and enjoy the game. I currently have 3 pieces of DL, am stuck on HM Titan and am having a blast. It sure is a great launch seeing as I've hit lvl cap on goldsmith have all hq gear and a 50 drg with ifrits harpoon and 3/10 DL in about a month compared to 4 months to lvl cap and years of dynamis/sky/sea/einherjar/ salvage for gear. The game is fun from lvl 1 if you let it be. Stop crying that everyone is further or better than you and enjoy the game, make friends and succeed. So what if you can't do coil yet? Neither can I!

This sort of change is a fact of MMOs. There is a reason why the saying goes "Exploit early and exploit often". The first wave of level 50s exploited early, exploited often, and now have amazing gear to show for it. When PvP releases in 2.1 they will be the top dogs thanks to that gear.

And you know what? SE probably wanted it that way. There's no other reason they would allow the speed runs to go on as long as they did and then suddenly stop them after the first wave of 50s got all their gear in 1/10 of the time it will take everyone else.

Let this be a lesson to you- if you see an exploit, use it early and use it often. You will be rewarded, while everyone else will get punished.

I've spent the last week+ grinding AK and end game scenarios for Tombs; I now have the two most expensive DL pieces for my class and am literally one tombstone from my next item. I did this all legit, working a full time job, playing only 3ish hours a day (not counting longer play during the weekends). Yes, it's boring as hell, but it is more rewarding than (it) being handed to me.

I don't blame SE for not rolling back characters, that would be unrealistic. How the heck are they supposed to know which people grinded gear legit and which cheated? Nearly impossible with so many players. I'm not fond that people got DL so easily, but SE did fix it in a timely manner (especially considering how many quest bugs there are right now). I was a legacy player (more like owner, bought the collectors and never actually played it due to the bad ratings and lack of friends playing), so I've already started paying my monthly fee, and happily doing so.

TLDR: I did it legit, I don't mind. Keep up the good work, SE. But get better customer support methods, too!

Seriously...what kind of "hypocracy" is that? People can SR Praetorium for Philosophy and can get "just as awesome gear" as anybody else did with those "so called Exploits". Oh and pretty much in the same time...
You can SR the shit out of it and get a whole DL set in 2-3 days. Anybody who is complaining about this but doesn't have the time to SR Praetorium to get a full DL set in 2-3 days, you wouldn't have gotten far during the AK SR times anyway...cause AK took just as long and gave you 20 Philosophy less...

SR Praetorium and get your gear that way and stop whining...it's just as fast if not faster than AK is if you got mediocre gear...cause you don't even need that great gear to SR it...

This. I literally got a full set of DL in 3 days speed running Prae. It isn't much of a grind.

SR Prae is nowhere near where the 15 minute AK runs were at. You're bold faced lying if you try to say otherwise. Not only that, but you only get 1 of the two types of Tomes.

As I said before- exploit early, exploit often. It's the golden rules of MMOs, and FF14 is no different. Everyone fortunate enough to have gotten in on the exploit train for AK got their gear with almost no work, and now they can sit back and call all the people who actually have to work for their gear entitled whiners.

Unless you have a FC waiting for you to be geared enough so that you can run Coil, I'm not really sure what the rush to gear up is. On WoW I often heard rather casual players - none of which actually raided, nor had the time to - complain about loot and gear often, so forgive me if I'm being a little skeptical. Otherwise, I don't really see what the rush to gear up is, and you may as well go at a more reasonable pace.

With nobody demanding that you be geared and you do it soon, there's no reason to have to speed through content.

2.1's pvp. All the players who missed the chance to exploit AK when the opportunity was present will be far undergeared compared to those who did exploit (early, and often) to get full DL + many pieces of their ilvl 90 stuff.

Those players are basically handed a massive stat boost over the other players who played the game in the intended way.

I am doing 1-2 AK runs every day and almost done with my 2nd DL set. Your compains at this time weeks after change are way too late, what would you say to players who did get to 50 month later and asked for same gear as those who spend 4 weeks farming farming it?

P.S. And AK runs now are faster than speed runs back in time... It was 15 min queue 15 min run, now it is insta queue 20-30min run, just wait out monday it is only day when there are still queue to AK.
