Worst end game community ever?

For Amdapor keep was actually a real nice group and is far and away the best experience I've had. It's been the story line dungeons that have caused massive headaches.

But yes, I always mention it's my first time. As I see many other players do - doesn't seem to phase the speed farmers.

I've played a lot of mmos, too many, but yes this is the most toxic community I've ever seen.

This joining and looting, the rumors of people sabotaging titan runs to line their FC's pockets, the trolling and the hating is worse than anything I'd ever seen in a dungeon finder.

SE has this noble idea that people are nice, and will behave. They are not. They desperately need to change their stance on bad behavior, separately start rewarding good behavior, and give us some cross server community tools.

I also think they should allow an option on the duty finder for speed runners to look for their own kin, that way if they decide to que with new and normal players they can't bitch and complain the whole time.

I kinda blame the guy who was like "hey lets make it give the most philosophy of all dungeons!, that way all these people will do it over and over and over again". They SHOULD have made AK or WP drop 100 instead and those two 8man story quests. maybe have CM and PREA give 80 that way only people who can't beat AK or WP would do it and other people who NEED it for story. I figure it would get rid of some of the "Elitism" i mean what kind of elitist would do something for not the max amount of points?

At the same time I guess I looked at FF14 end game as a more enjoyable thing. A slow community-oriented experience.

It's been anything but that. What it's been instead is a bunch of people who claim to love the game, but do nothing but the same dungeons over and over. If people really enjoy the game...why are they farming the same crap?

it's so they can stand around in towns for hours on end like sad bastards trying to show off their new gear. If they want to speed run and will bitch at those who don't then they need to start setting up their own groups so others don't get stuck with the ferral assholes

As a new mmo player and experiences from my friends who are too, I have to agree. One of my friends was pretty much about to quit because he got nothing but nasty comments and got no help whatsoever. Granted he did play a tank role but how is anyone supposed to get any better with a community that just craps on new players. I worry more that im getting close to lvl 50 if what you say op is true, it already bothers me to have to play with randoms cause ive seen where a person will make a mistake on a NEW dungeon and they rage quit or call that person out wrongfully. My only hope now is to recruit players who are either on our same skill level who are willing to get better without being hateful and are pretty much not dbags lol.

I feel the same way.

A) AK and WP are harder than either of the raids. I'd argue WP actually has harder boss fights.
B) Grinding one dungeon over and over and over is giving me very negative feelings about the game. I got whm leveled for stoneskin and then I thought about taking it to 50 and realized that if I do that, all that's in store for me is MORE grinding of THE SAME DUNGEON for a new set of darklight.

Honestly, from what I've seen lately NA just can't handle this game.
There's absolutely no concept of anything but MAX DPS FULL TIME ALL THE TIME or GTFO

No strategy
No Support

I think it'll take some time for these things to even out, and also not everyone is bad. But Holy Crap... As a community these bad attitudes/players are very very common.

If it weren't for the language barrier, I'd be in heaven on my JP server. We seem to have far, far, far fewer problems than the NA/EU server set. Buuuut, as I did, so did many thousands of others: moved to JP server during early access because it was the only server group we could ever log into, even from NA. So ya, we do have some of the dbaggery, just not as concentrated.

It's because JP don't care about all this Server First or to see who can rush to end game the fastest, to obtain the top end gear to stand around showing their e-peen. How many time JP go around posting server first? Don't see it happen a lot. How many time NA does it? A lot. JP work together to reach their Goals, providing tips and encouragement on the way. In the end it always get the job done. What they end up is have a strong and nice communities. They are humble and friendly. We could learn a thing or two from them.
