What needs to be done is remove duty finder for one, as seeing this is cross server player's dont have to worry about being nice, than of course kill the tomes and everything is done by a random drop. This new age MMO crap needs to go or new measures need to be put in place to penalize those that do this kind of crap.

I've played a lot of mmos, too many, but yes this is the most toxic community I've ever seen.

This joining and looting, the rumors of people sabotaging titan runs to line their FC's pockets, the trolling and the hating is worse than anything I'd ever seen in a dungeon finder.

I also think they should allow an option on the duty finder for speed runners to look for their own kin, that way if they decide to que with new and normal players they can't bitch and complain the whole time.

No they don't. Implementing mechanics did nothing for Guild Wars 2, it just made people anti-social. People need to grow up and learn for themselves and that is what's going to happen eventually with this community. Those who can't change will leave and play another game.

You misunderstand.

It's fine if they don't want to reward good behavior, but turning a blind eye to bad behavior only makes things worse.

I kinda blame the guy who was like "hey lets make it give the most philosophy of all dungeons!, that way all these people will do it over and over and over again". They SHOULD have made AK or WP drop 100 instead and those two 8man story quests. maybe have CM and PREA give 80 that way only people who can't beat AK or WP would do it and other people who NEED it for story. I figure it would get rid of some of the "Elitism" i mean what kind of elitist would do something for not the max amount of points?

At the same time I guess I looked at FF14 end game as a more enjoyable thing. A slow community-oriented experience.

It's been anything but that. What it's been instead is a bunch of people who claim to love the game, but do nothing but the same dungeons over and over. If people really enjoy the game...why are they farming the same crap?

it's so they can stand around in towns for hours on end like sad bastards trying to show off their new gear. If they want to speed run and will bitch at those who don't then they need to start setting up their own groups so others don't get stuck with the ferral assholes
