What do you mean? She seems to sing FFXI's praises several times through her post. I don't think it's far-fetched at all to come to the conclusion that she wants it to be more like FFXI. Some of her sections are straight-up about how aspects of XIV should be more like XI. Am I missing something here?

I think you're misinterpreting what OP wrote, s/he is not praising XI, she's just pointing out that certain aspects in XI were better then XIV. XI was far from a perfect game but some features would have been more then OK to be used in XIV. Its like SE is trying to hard to make this game not be his predecessor (mainly thinking the mindless battles against regular mobs and more in particular the wards < > Auctionhouse)
But yes, this game has potential, I would like to see it reach it fullest instead of keep going on the path we're on now.

Well Spoken. I wouldn't mind seeing this game come to full fruitation of what it could be, but I think Yoshi needs to realize that focusing on Just End Game, will in fact End this game...
