This is getting ridiculous, 2 weeks and 600+ posts and nothing. What is even worse is I am starting to learn to play the game with this horrible lag so when they do fix it I am gonna be screwed.

At least tell us you are not going to fix it or dont know how yet. Anything is better than nothing.

Edit: actually i was wrong if you are not going to fix it dont tell us. lol You just told us that you are not going to fix off gcd abilities and I am ready to ragequit.

Lies. You're gonna be godlike when/if they fix lag.

Its gonna be a repeat of monster hunter:
    (warning, story incoming)

Once upon a time, Monster Hunter (1 and 2) had the worst controls of any game ever. Specifically, the camera was controlled by the D-pad and the right analog was used to attack. And this was on PS2 for god sake.... It was god awful. Because you couldn't zoom out super far, camera control played a major part in every encounter. It was honestly a mess.
but the game was fun DESPITE this flaw, not because of it.
At any rate, these games were considered tough. The learning curve was relatively high and death was all but certain the first time you challenged a new enemy.

    Then.....

Monster Hunter Tri was released on Wii. At last, players could use the right analog the way it was meant to be used... for the camera. It was indeed the improvement that should have always been. The result was all Monster Hunter veterans complaining that the game had been dumbed down and made easy. The truth is, it only felt easier because the unintuitive controls and gameplay no longer got in the way of actually playing the game.

If FFXIV fixed lag and delay to be on par with just about every other MMO (free or otherwise) on the market, the result would be everyone with relics, and Titan being a joke.
In that case, SE could just randomize Titans attacks, since at that point players will actually be able to "react" as opposed to "predict"

    Just my 2 cents
