    Sort of sad that there's not much left to discuss. All that's left is waiting for a dev post that may or may not come. And really, this is silly considering we've been through all of this in the beta forums already. Should I assume that this issue isn't going to be fixed seeing as how the community reps (and by extension, the devs) are side-stepping the issue again?

    I've been helping lots of people in the DF get through Ifrit SM and Titan SM and most people complain that they are out of the AoE's when they get hit. I guess not many people come to the forums?? Who knows.

    Still no atention for this problem
    But be aware moust people lv up slow and didnt hit the HM primals...When they will hit this problem in masses,specialy EU players and NA,will be a storm about this problem on forums.I just hope this will be fixed before that take place or else it will be a mess around.

    Damn this fight is tough. I guess it can be done eventually, if you get right strats. But hopefully they do trim it down a bit

    good job listing them for us.

    I play with 300+ PING and managing just fine. If I learned anything, is to move BEFORE the mob does his AoE (its true if i move as soon as he starts it I won't be able to dodge) but as I mentioned, this is easily avoided if you move before he starts it...
    Most attacks are predicted as they have the same pattern...

    Yea - you can dodge AOEs just fine. However, it's a problem when you're all the way across room, an 20 yards away from the edge of the aoe, and still get hit.

    Lets put it this way. What if in upcoming content, the fights aren't scripted? You actually have to dodge. Random AOEs. Natural RNG (with bias towards those without lag) dungeon completion?

    Heck don't you want a smoother game?

    The thing is, I have no problem with difficulty. If they want to make hard encounters that require skill to avoid attacks that's great. However, as it is at the moment it's like trying to have a competitive game of chess whilst someone deliberately knocks over and moves pieces around; not fun.

    The reason I'm flagging this poster's line of thinking is because I'm worried SE's response will be to just make things easier.
    Don't make things easier.
    Allow me to play the game, at the difficulty prescribed, with a system that responds to my commands and lets me react in accordance with what I'm seeing on screen.

    Don't know will you play pvp or not, but if you will, keep practice in your jedi powers for predicting LIVE enemy moves.

    Things wrong with you:
    1. You fail to understand dodging areas is not the only issue
    2. You fail as a MNK if as a level 50 class you haven't found obvious evidence of the server lag
    3. You said it yourself, MOST fights are predticable, well, what about those that aren't, do you just die?
    4. You fail at bragging, many people complaining here are in front of you in progress and can avoid areas, but there is still a problem
    5. You are accepting the problem, however you are saying it is not a problem
