    Let me explain even further so those in this thread may understand the facts.

    Lets say I am at point A. The recipient of my Raise spell is at point B. I cast and complete my Raise of a defeated player at point B. That player is moved to my location - point A and begins the resurrection animation. I move to point C to get closer to the tank. During the resurrection animation for the now resurrected player, the boss places a TARGETED red aoe damage zone ON THE PLAYER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RESURRECTION ANIMATION. Being unable to move out of the red zone, the moment the player gains control of his character, the red zone detonates, instantly killing the already severely wounded player.

    Yeah that may or may not happen, but the healer has done everything he or she can do. That's why I favor temporary invulnerability during the raising process, and for a moment after.
