    I agree that SOME of the baits has too many possible catches, making it quite hard to pick a specific fish. But I think it is still manageable. It gets frustrating sometimes, but I believe that after getting used to fishing, getting to know the bait/target combination, and learning where the prime location is, I will SOMEDAY manage to get any fish I want any time I want. I am still learning to manipulate my fishing and it does not seem easy. But I am willing to try. I personally think that 2.0 fishing system is FAR better than 1.0. I really love the new system. And I believe there is a way to work around this upsetting wide range of catches.

    I've been through similar upsetting experience today. I tried to fish Red Coral for a GSM who contacted me. First, I went to North Bloodshore for it because the bait people said to catch Red Coral (Herring Ball) is sold at Costa Del Sol. After an hour, the result was totally disappointing. I caught only 3 Red Corals and a crap ton of other fish. Problem is, that spot has 9 fish. So I moved to Sapsa Spawning Ground, and the rate of hooking Red Coral was slightly better, as that place has only 5 kinds of fish.

    I am eyeing the Isle of Umbral now, but I have to finish more main story quests first. There is a spot there that has Red Coral and only have 4 kinds of fish total.

    Though I can put up with current range of catches, I admit that I feel it would be nicer if higher level baits won't catch (or catch less) those very low level fish. It seems kind of a waste to have a level 3 Lominsan Anchovy hogging up my level 45 Glowworm. LOL. But if this is not going to change, then meh, I will just have to find the best combination for aiming at specific fish. Tough luck ><;;
