No real endgame raiding content in 2.1

we know this:
- 2 new dungeon 50
- 1 at 2 primal added (mog and surely leviathan, they have tease it while the 8th letter by showing the furniture made from leviathan part)
- 1 new difficulty for every primal
- 1 raid of 24 people.

and we will surelly have new story content.... all of this for say... i don't think is a small add.

No one is telling you or anyone else to. I'm sure someone will argue "but it's the only way to farm Myth tomes!" The argument still stands; no one is telling you to farm them.

Endgame exists, people need to stop saying (and / or implying that) it doesn't. Meaningful endgame content and a total lack of it are two entirely different things; give SE time to figure out how to balance it, since it obviously wasn't thought through very well.

AK being the only really efficient place to farm Mythology tombstones is an issue and I think part of the problem is that more than likely you'll be able to get them in Crystal Tower (which was intended to be in at launch) so you would have had more than just AK as an option. As we know though it got pushed back to 2.1 which leaves us either doing an obscene amount of Gaurda or Titan kills or 7 runs of Amdapor Keep to cap out for the week. Really hoping that they make extreme mode Primals drop at least a decent amount, have them drop in Crystal Tower, or have other ways of obtaining them.

As for endgame content itself, you really just can't expect a plethora of endgame at launch. They had only 2 years to rebuild this game from the ground up and they've (imo) done a fantastic job at doing it. Without Crystal Tower it can feel like there's a lack of endgame and since it was supposed to be in at launch there certainly is less than there was meant to be but from what I've seen of it Binding Coil of Bahamut is an immensely fun raid with some real meaningful challenge. While we all wish there was more variation of endgame at the current time, that raid will certainly be enough to last until 2.1 due to precise tuning and need of a dedicated group to clear it (at least in the later turns).

Also Crystal Tower having its difficulty toned down a bit since Yoshi-P thought it was a bit too hard doesn't mean it's going to be ezmode like in WoW's LFR. The difficulty is meant to be in between Amdapor Keep and Coil and while AK isn't far from a real challenge it can still be ruined by duty finder people without the capability to listen and who always mess up to the easiest things. If it's right between that and the Coil which is really difficult I think it'll be a very nice experience that has the OPTION to use the duty finder (mind you Titan Hard has that option too) but has MUCH more chance of success with a premade group.

while this is true, that game also launched a decade ago and developers have had time to see the market and what is expected. I also was under the impression that while the game was redone, the groundwork for this content was already laid in 1.0. I personally wish they had put less dungeons in the 1-49 range and used them at 50 instead. 3 dungeons from 15-18 was a bit overkill. There are 16 dungeons and only 4 of them are level 50, 2 of them dont drop items.

WoW had time to. Regardless of it's time, they must be able to think that " What happens when a player get's to max"" "What are they going to do?" those questions aren't exactly rocket science to even bring up -.-.

Then don't, do other things that the game has. You know like the other classes that you can level up under 1 character, or even do the other End-game content ( Titan/Garuda/Ifrit Hard mode), or Bahamut's Coil. You don't HAVE to keep doing Mytho tomes, you just choose to do so. ( granted there should be more than 1 dungeon/way to get these tomes) BUT there are other things you can do in the game.

I notice a trend of ppl complaining about this. Many of them have one lvl50 with 1-3 darklight pieces and no primal weapon.

Really you should only be doing AK for the weekly Myth cap. 8 runs a week and a few ilvl60 gear from chests. The rest of your "endgame" time should be farming primals for weapons and CM/Praetorium for Darklight until the next myth reset.

Also join a FC or if you are part of one. Save your lower lvl members some of the pain on Duty Finder. Help them out.

Between my 8 AK runs a week to +1 my Artemis Bow and helping out other FC members, its a good amount of playtime. Nevermind my crafting/gathering and working on other battle/mage classes.

I'm getting the impression that these same people do not want to level an additional job and never craft or gather. They just want to get 50 and be thrown into raids for uber gear a la WoW. They also want 100k gil after every duty finder party and they never help anyone in the linkshell or FC when they ask for progress in their storyline quests.

The devs said "crystal tower" is BEFORE u enter Coil and they tune it to be accessable through Duty Finder and therefore to be "easy" pugable content which ppl can enjoy. (don´t get me wrong its nice to have a bigger raid content for none FCs, but when u can PuG it, it won´t take u ages to clear it right?)

So no. Crystal Tower is not real "endgame" for your FC in that regard should have been in 2.0, but got posponed as I have written earlier.

My concern centers around the FC endgame, where most ppl will have coil clear by 2.1 (ilvl 90 geared for last Boss) u will only get those 3 extreme primal fights nothing more and thats again the only content for the next 6-7month.

Again, i just want endgame content for my FC thats whats the game is about right? Playing with your friends in an community to overcome difficult bosses, atleast thats it for me. I also like PvP and Alts and stuff, but the "real" deal is endgame . MY opinion u got your own - so we must not fight whats more important or who is right in the end - we all are right.
So with only 3 extreme modes in 2.1 i simply can´t see me and my mates play this game in the long term. AGAIN im talking about me not all other players on the planet .
