What? There's nothing wrong with somebody offering a service that you do not have to accept. Oh, you want them to run you through content for free? Hurray for self entitlement I guess. I suppose you're also the type that gets mad that you have to buy gear off of the AH with gil, because you think crafters should make items for fun, not to make money.

No they didn't. Don't spread lies just because you don't like that you can't afford a service someone else is offering.

I have seen HM titan shots a few times but have yet to see coil shouts.

Most people don't expect "free runs"... they actually want to participate and do the content. You know, to actually play the game? The problem with mercing (and this was a big issue in FFXI) is that once it becomes popular, it is the only viable option for doing content since whole servers get lazy and just "accept" that you have to pay a fee to do content instead of actually playing it.

I hope SE makes it a bannable offense because mercing was a blight in FFXI and I hope it never gets a foothold in XIV.

You all do realize that in the ACTUAL story of the game, Titan was first killed by a band of Mercenaries, right? XD Nothing wrong with providing a service, it's not like its your only option.

And honestly, I'm tired of all the QQ about Speed running. People aren't 'lightyears' ahead because they speedran AK while it was available. It saved about 20 mins for a well organized group. They're ahead because they have static groups that they run with, or a FC full of capable players (including tanks and healers) they can queue with. Which means, when they do get in, they clear it and get their tomestones.

Instead of being envious and throwing pity parties, find a good FC. And by good I don't mean 'progressed' Our FC hardly focuses on progression, we focus on our community and players, and it just so happens we have many capable players. And we have recruited numerous people not in full DL or even primal weapons. So, look harder, don't complain, and enjoy the game. That'd be my advice.

They wont make merc bannable. Theres nothing wrong with it and no rules are being broken. In my entire mmo history since EQ1 I have never seen anyone complain about it till now...
