I think they have a system in place so the same credit card can't be used across multiple accounts for security purposes or something like that.
mostly? They were always a shitty company, Enix saved their asses and gave them a lot of money, and so square's devs have no sense of fear of retribution. This have nothing to do with our banks. I'm in the same situation. According to bank there isn't a attempt of charge in there.
I can't use Ultimate Game Card solution, neither Crysta (i'm living outside NA), the only thing left is credit (should be the easiest).
And the funny thing, i bought 1.0 and paid monthly fees using this card.
I just wanna my 50 dollars back. I tired of this, first the "mockery" of the first week, now this.
What they did with Square Soft ...
I used to work at Sony Online Entertainment in billing support and this issue came up a lot. For some online transactions, a $0 authorization charge is sent to the financial institution to verify that it is a valid account. Based on my experience there, many banks/financial institution automatically decline $0 authorization charges (by default) until you specify that you are okay with this. At the time, I had many customers calling back saying everything was working fine after contacting their financial institution and sorting it out. You have to specifically mention $0 authorization charges or else their customer service won't know what you're talking about.
Now this may not be the same issue everyone is having, but it doesn't hurt to call and find out.

i swear i've NEVER had issues payin for stuff in MMOs before.. even other MMOs that use ultimate pay like vindictus and warframe some1 needs to file a complaint to the better business bureau or something cuz this is ridiculous
That's silly. I've had no issues with this for other P2P MMOs; it is like they do not want my money.
And sadly, because I was declined once or whatever, that account is down for 24 hours or something along those lines..
It really isn't so silly. This is a safeguard for credit card fraud.
If that's the case, maybe they should actually communicate with their customers and let them know somewhere, anywhere, that they cannot use the same credit card on two different accounts... Horrible, horrible customer service...
