mostly? They were always a shitty company, Enix saved their asses and gave them a lot of money, and so square's devs have no sense of fear of retribution. This have nothing to do with our banks. I'm in the same situation. According to bank there isn't a attempt of charge in there.
I can't use Ultimate Game Card solution, neither Crysta (i'm living outside NA), the only thing left is credit (should be the easiest).
And the funny thing, i bought 1.0 and paid monthly fees using this card.
I just wanna my 50 dollars back. I tired of this, first the "mockery" of the first week, now this.
What they did with Square Soft ...
Yeah, the card I tried to register was the same card I used in 1.0 to pay for my subscription. So it is definitely not my banks fault.
Yeah I've tried mutiple sources from multiple banks and nada. Keeps telling me to check current relevant options then goes back to the begining. This is starting to piss me off.
I think that after your first error you are locked out for 24 hours, so attempting other methods is pointless. This is part of their fraud protection which is not necessarily terrible, but for these types of issues it just compounds the problem.
I tried so many ways since yesterday only ending up loosing alot of money, cause im in EU, i cant use Crysta. I finaly got a 60 day gamecard that worked.
So the point is, i have a 15$ UGC code, if anyone wants to buy it for 10$ via paypal. I cant ever use it, so hopefully someone wants it. Send me PM or mail me at gvarimoto@gmail.com
And now, time for some online gaming![]()
lol they should just abandon globalpay and contract with ultimatepay

Thank You SE. Our Banks are not the problem.

Well it's nice to see news about this popping up. With any luck SE will now give the problem attention instead of saying it's our fault.

The errors you may be receiving is due to an issue with the third party that is taking payments for SE. This is assuming it is a third party. Even if it isn't, the following link is to an excel spreadsheet that details the different error codes during the payment process.
https://www.usaepay.com/console/supp...rs/errors.csv
Obviously, you may be wary of clicking on it and I understand, but since it is safe, I went ahead and grabbed the two errors it could be. (401/601)
401 Selected bank is not available The SVP Bank ID that was specified was not found in the list of valid financial institutions for selected merchants
601 Invalid card reference token The cardnumber field appears to be a card reference token but the token does not exist (this could be the CVV or it could be a token generated from your credit card number. This is a common practice for PCI compliance)
11000 Is a generic gateway error when communicating with the payment server
I know this info from being in a financial support position with the technical side of an ERP solution for a company. We also use 'tokens' from a specialized third party so that we do not have to cover the cost to upgrade and maintain PCI compliance in order to hold credit card numbers of our customers.
Another note, most systems will not allow a credit card being used against a second account. 2nd service account should be fine normally.
