Monks very weak. Need rebalance

i am top tier dps in every single dungeon, hard mode, coil and i did alot already. Monk dps is more than fine, but i guess there are 99% casuals in forum anyway

No offense, but why are you using a unfinished relic weapon when you have access to Coil already? From experience, I've not seen a single monk out perform a well optimized Dragoon let alone Bard and trust me we spent a lot of time trying to optimize our MNK friend's rotation to no avail. Yes, monk's number may theoretically stack up to the other classes on paper but quite frankly it doesn't work that way in real life. Just do some ADS in Coil 2 and you'll see how badly monk drops off in dps. I personally would love to see some quality of life changes for monk.

It is plausible that she has done the Coil without a Relic? Who knows. It's not like the judgement from either of you have different validity, far as I know you're just a tank yourself and got no idea what a monk's DPS is like

Your other dps are bad if you are beating them in monk in hm primals where we have multiple instances of GL stacks dropping, also turn 2 you shouldn't beat anyone else if they know what they are doing, so much disconnect on ADS, most of the time can keep GL stacks up but lots of lost globals.

My experiences with Monk tells me it doesn't needs any change by itself, it's working just about where it should be. On the other hand I haven't done THAT grade of content on anything, much less monk, but i'd be more than inclined to say that the problem, then, would be in combat design than job design. Can't separate both, they work in tandem

I don't know what you're doing for ADS, but Allagan rot is handled by our ranged. You don't lose any stacks moving from Repelling Cannons or the Wave ability. It's really not even remotely difficult to remain competitive.

I would like to some minor quality of life changes too, but you're exaggerating pretty hard. Maybe your group kills different nodes than ours but ADS isn't really a fight where monks suffer.

I had some issues with monk too but after fixed my rotaatio etc i can pull more dps or same amount as equally geared dragoon. Cant say about coil havent done it yet but for example AK last boss i had 305 dps with relic weapon. At ifrit i pulled about 230 dps and at titan kill had about 200 dps. So im not sure is monk so bad at dps

Well, It might just be my friend on Monk having a hard time on ADS as I haven't tried Turn 2 with any other Monk yet so it might not be as bad for other people. Since there're quite a bit of things for a tank to focus on during ADS I have to admit I didn't pay that close an attention to what the Monk was doing so I only have numbers to go on. However, he was doing close to only 2/3 of our Dragoon's dps during that fight and typically do about 3/4th of the Dragoon's damage in other cases. His gear is only 1 AF2 head piece behind the Dragoon right now so it really shouldn't make that much of a difference in dps.

Could you share your rotation? 200 dps on Titan is pretty impressive as a Monk. My friend was only around 160 dps with crafted ilvl 70 weapon and I'd love to pass some advice to him about how he can improve his dps.

Monk is weakest DPS. I completely agree. No group looking for monk, that's very sad. it is noting to do with your skill, rotation, or gear what ever. It is very logical and printed on the paper.
1 monk has lowest Dmg based on skill
2 monk does not hit faster than any other class, same global CD
3 monk has hardest buffer to boost their DPS
4 monk is melee class with weakest armor
Monk need love in this game. They should increase monk attack speed by at least 30%.

After a long debate, blizzard realized monk was suck.
