the problem with this is that you think it's the player's job to be super conscientious with stuff like this and put their gameplay on hold because someone else isn't getting credit on a FATE. people just want to PLAY the game. they aren't having some internal debate in their mind on whether or not them clearing FATEs too fast is excluding people. it's not their job to think about that, it's SE's.

unless you join a FATE party at the moment, then yeah -- you aren't really going to get anything past silver. it kind of sucks, but a clear and easy solution exists -- refusing to use it is on you. SE firmly believes that fates will normalize down the line a bit once more people have hit cap.. i think their view is a bit more important than a players', seeing as they designed the game and no doubt have access to various player data metrics.
