Edited previous post to more accurately depict my point.
To answer your question toward me, no, I am not at the Coils either. Nor do I see what the rush is all about, or what the big deal is about Keep farming. Just from playing through the story, only doing Keep runs for my ilvl60 set, and helping a couple of FC friends with their last two story dungeons, I've got half of my Darklight gear already. That's after just one week, never going out of my way for any of it, and I'm so close to my relic that I can taste it. For me, gearing up hardly feels like the chore that you're making it out to be.
And there's nothing wrong with farming Mythology tokens every week before you get to Coils. That's not what I'm saying. It just strikes me as an unnecessary burden to put yourself through, considering that there are people who actually killed some of the bosses in the Coils on week two. Tell me again that Mythology gear is a requirement for beginning Coils? Yes, ilvl 90 gear may be a requirement for a full clear, but it drops from the bosses themselves, as do Mythology tokens. Some people have already been progressing that way for two weeks.
If you're spending your mythology this early in the game's life, then you surely aren't anywhere close to being 2000/2000 on tokens, in which case you're missing the point of them being there and spending them prematurely. When you get there, I hope you don't end up progressing through Coils where your kills per week are capped, only for your first month of drops to be useless because they occupy all of the slots that you immediately blew your tokens on.
All of that aside, even... if I really wanted to, checking the box to join an instance in progress has proven to net me 50-70 mythology tokens in 20 minutes on multiple occasions. A few hours to cap each week is hardly the torture that you're crying out about.
