Difference between leveling all the classes, and gearing them. If you expect to be able to gear up every class easily and quickly, better off making one character for each class to take advantage of the quests for initial gear and faster XP. It should take time to fully gear up each class for endgame, and odds are you are either gearing up a job you enjoy, or one that is in demand by your FC. So you use your tokens on your primary jobs you play often, and let the random drops that no one else needs fill out the others you are not actively playing.

Okay, reading through this thread there seems to be this thing about gearing up which leaves me to ask. What's the minimum gear score for the dungeons? I don't mean the one set by the community, I mean the hard coded one set by the duty finder (assuming that's now a thing). Is AF really so maligned as to be ignorable? What about slightly lower level gear like Company equipment? You know, the ones that have a 5th or 6th bonus if you're wearing X amount of Company equipment? What constitutes 'ghetto' for endgame? Why are we even being so anal about this?

My issue will be if the OP is correct in saying there is only 1 dungeon to actually farm 1 type of gear. That's just silly. I don't mind grinding at all. What I will mind is doing ONE dungeon 60? 70? 80? times PER job with no real reward other than tombs. Either add 2 or 3 more dungeons for some variety or add a super rare drop that's awesome. I don't care if it may only drop 2 or 3 times per job I gear up. At least the chance is there. The issue doesn't seem to be how much of a grind it is but how you go about it.

Wait, you guys dont like the fact that they not only increased the number of trash mobs that serve no purpose other than to make the dungeon boring and drawn out, but made them nearly unsleepable, and run faster than a person sprinting?

The game's been out just over two weeks. You're sporting a max-level character that speed-runs AK for lewt.
You like grinding, you jobless fiend. Don't pretend otherwise.

Tbh, It feels like farming Dynamis in FFXI for currency... but in Dynamis you could at least see some relic armor drop.
I didn't like the idea of Speedruns but I also don't like the idea of mindless grinding without any other reward than the stones.
I hope some variety will be implemented soon, otherwise it will get boring very quick.
And for all the people who say that farming for relic after the game has been out for 2 weeks is rushing... how slow do you play?!
I am quite casual, I have full time work, pets, a partner and friends, so I really get to play only couple of hours here and there... yet even I am 50 already and working on my relic.
This game doesn't take a hard core player to get to the end content...
There is a little Monkey in all of us....
