I agree but people are gonna speedrun the dungeon for allagan tombstones. So you have two options. Skip the cutscene or miss a fight or entire segment of the dungeon because people aren't going to wait for you. Unless you're a tank or healer then they might. But being down 1 dps means nothing.

if there was an check box it would be better. but it doesn't happen when i finally reach the end of the story i will continue playing the story not just to farm but to enable those who want to watch the cs to be able to do so for that is the whole point of a ff game to follow the story.

If people don't want me to watch the cutscenes, too bad, deal with it. Your adhd can wait a few minutes and to those saying majority rule, I only care about myself and I refuse to miss any cutscenes <3.

This is a bit off topic, but I don't understand Praetorium/Castrum tomestone runs. Sure you get 100 tomestones from each, but they also take at least 40 minutes to complete. A 20 minute Amdapor run will yield 80 Tomestones of Philosophy along with 50 Tomestones of Mythology. I just don't get it.

I'm pretty sure AK gives 40 philosophy. 40 versus 100. You can clear Castrum pretty quickly if you know how. There's a decent chunk of mobs that can be skipped and the cannons can kill off many fast.

If you care about the story, there's a few hundred boring quests you need to do to actually do the story....which sucks. I wanted actual quests for the storyline, but these are mostly fetch quests or talk to NPC quests, then return. Very boring. 1.23 had better story quests.

I'd take fetch quests over parlay any day of the week. Plus, in 1.0, the level gap between story quests was terrible. By the time you got a new quest, you already forgot what happened in the last one. At least we've got a continuous string from 1 to 50 now.

That said, fetch quests are tiring and out of place for main scenario quests.
