There was a lady npc that popped along with the GM in Camp Horizon yesterday on Saronia. Her name was Ro... something I did not get the whole name. As soon as the GM left she did also.

In the arcanist, thaumaturge's and conjurer's guilds there are a collection of "dusty tomes" that talk about the elements, time and ages. They describe the cycle of ice>water>wind>lightning>fire>earth. This cycle combined with astral and umbral make the set of 8 days in a week. Four sets of this cycle create a month of 32 days.

The months themselves also follow a cycle of astral and umbral elements. The seventh moon is the astral lightning moon, which is represented by Byregot the builder. I'm not sure if this protends to anything.

Thanks for this, learning new things everyday. Well if 32 days in a month quick redo on the math.

Currently 10/31 in the game.

8 full months remaining. 8x32x1.15 hours = 295 hours~
1 day remaining for October. 1x1.15 hours = 1 hours~
6 days into July. 6x1.15 hours = 7 hours~

Total time 303 hours remaining til July 6th in-game or 12-13 real days still.

I seemed to have confused a lot of people saying moons represent months. I wasn't talking about the moon cycle length but rather the actual word. The English version was worded as 6th sun of the 7th moon which is the same format the birthday of your character is expressed as on the Lodestone site which is why I assumed it was a date.

Her name is Roysia, and she is against the Arcanist who pops up. Here's the convo that occurs when you talk to her:

Roysia: Aetheryte camps are important outposts that not only maintain peace throughout the region, but also serve as hubs for travelers and traders across the realm. This is why we simply cannot allow the disruption of their operation. Might you lend us your aid in ensuring the camps remain safe?

Roysia: Each day we receive reports stating suspicious characters are loitering about the camps spinning absurd tales of impending doom. Their dark words are driving away visitors, and have the local guard on edge.

Roysia: You can start by spreading the word that the city-state will not tolerate this type of behavior at public camps. Tell these dastards to peddle their fear elsewhere or they shall be thrown in a cell so far underground only the rats will pay them any heed.


.....And she says this line out-loud to the entire camp as well.

Roysia: Hear ye! Our aetheryte camps are under assault! Let it be known that those who defile these public bastions shall be punished without mercy!

All those things really begin to hype me.
The Npc really surprised me...one at horizon and one spawns in the middle of Ul Dah, praying about the upcoming "evil".
