Finally saw Alfgar in Ul'dah:
Alfgar: Adventurer! I ask that you heed not the foul lies of those claiming knowledge of future happenings!
You: Who are these false prophets?
Alfgar: They appear near aetheryte camps, bedraped in shadowy robes, preaching their untruths to any and all who will listen. Keep your distance, traveler, lest you become tangled in their web of deceit.
Alfgar: Adventurer! I ask that you heed not the foul lies of those claiming knowledge of future happenings!
You: Are we in any danger?
Alfgar: We are all in danger, for fear can drive a man to terrible deeds, and it is seeds of fear that these false prophets wish to plant in our hearts and our minds. They are not the Archons of legend. They are not our saviors. They only foster unrest.
Alfgar: Hearken adventurers of Eorzea! Ware you the venomous words of false prophets!
When I took that video also in the past few threads (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6IaHzkK70s) You will notice when I extend the chat, the huge spam from Alfgar.
I think he only spawns when the guy does.
While indeed it is cool, I do have a question. Was this a true "GM" at all?

Hes got an outfit Ive never seen before, its unlike any GMs ive seen before. At first I only noticed him because of the GM icon and then the outfit caught my eye.
Ignore my sassy comments, I was hoping to egg him into talking. No luck, he didnt say a word. I doubt he even spoke any english.
Like everything else SE does in FFXIV, I have no idea what he was doing.
What is it about the appearance of a GM in any game that turns people into a bunch of hooting muppets? It is like because a GM has shown up, you can all of a sudden act like a total prat.
Why do people do this?
And why did you have to re-bump a topic that died over 20 days ago?
