When I can get on I get about two tells per day already. I block them and it's two but it's just a little scary that it's starting this early in the games release. SE needs to enable a right click on a name ignore/report function.

As I'm sure many have already pointed out there is just no need to be so concerned about misclicking.
And about reports, to black list or report someone you could with a pop-up menu after you right click on the name in the chat so it goes :
Player name --> Right click --> [Invite / Befriend / Black list&Report / etc.] --> Blacklist&Report options --> [Add to black list / Report gil seller / Report Harassment]
With the "Report harassment" and "Report gil seller" options automatically attaching the log text including all the shouts/tells/etc. from the person you are clicking on to speed up the process. With a final warning asking people to review the Report before sending it just like when you are posting a blog in the Lodestone.
And that's just something I thought about in the past minute, so I'm sure you guys can come up with a better solution to the problem.
Give me a break people, the process of going through and blacklisting someone, and also reporting them takes literally no more then 3 minutes. Are you that important that you can't take that much time out of your game play routine to type out someones name in the blacklist add feature, and answer five basic questions that require almost no thought process whatsoever. Lazy people.
I've added 2 to my blacklist yesterday...Awful

Not gonna lie but your salty tears taste good. And that wasn't an excuse, just because you have the brain power to not b-list someone, others might mistakenly do it. This world doesn't revolve around you're glorified self... k thanks
That's 3 minutes less play time than I normally had. Make it like WoW's reporting system. Right click name -> Report. It automatically added them to your ignore list. You just reported and ignored someone in less than 10 seconds. We'll now refund the 2 mins and 50 seconds to someone that hasn't been able to log in and play so they have a little less than 3 mins to log in just to get a 1017 error! What'd I like to see? I'd like to see a menu when I right click someone that has "Add Friend," "Invite to party," "Send Message," "Report," "Cancel."
The "Report" feature would have 3 choices, each having a different degree of importance:
1 - Report RMT - Sends report(most info filled out for you, just need to input what was said). This goes straight to the Special Task Force for investigation.
2 - Report Spam/Harassment - Sends report but not all filled out. This will be more in depth than the RMT report. This is sent to a GM for processing/investigation.
3 - Report Bot - Sends report but not all filled out. This would be a quick synopsis why you think they are a bot. This goes to the Special Task Force as well, but a different branch that's designed to "find" the 3rd party program that's letting the individual "bot" or "hack" the game.

I've had 3 whispers from 3 DIFFERENT bs names selling gil in the span of 5 minutes..
How are these people even getting this many accounts?
Misclicking using the gamepad mouse is easier than you may realize. And if a person adds someone accidentally to their blacklist by a "misclick" without realizing it, much confusion will become abound.
I think this is a bit extreme anyhow.
Did you miss Medieval's point completely, or are you really just a slow-witted white knight of a troll?
There's absolutely no reason to not add a right-click option to blacklist and/or report somebody. Especially not for the flimsy excuse of "people might make mistakes." Mistakes can be undone. At least in this instance they can.
