I think I have ten to fifteen people on my blacklist. All of gilsellers. >>; And it is rather annoying trying to blacklist them, at least in shout on the ps3.

They are on Balmung as well. Got 3 /tells. Took screen shots. Tried to submit report through game. Game froze, PS button would not even work, had to turn off PS3 manually. So, now I don't use the support desk, still take screenshots, and blacklist them. Unfortunately, don't know how to post images.
Not sure if posting them on my blog on Lodestone would get me banned or not.
What do I do when a Gil seller spams me:
1 - I answer F*** Y**, it costs nothing to be polite.
2 - I report him and send a copy of his message
3 - I copy his web address, target it with my laser of justice and call for an orbital strike.. yaya it works.. in a couple of minutes his website is happy to have a rest. So give some love to Gil sellers websites peeps.
Cheers

I honestly can't say I blame them for the concern of miss clicking something. I mean after all they are having to deal with whole lot of people who failed to read/select the right button when registering the game.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...ervice-account (here is a huge thread full of said people)
Blacklisting them is only a Band-Aid solution, I'm more concerned what will be done to keep them out of the game all together.

Blacklist is my friend.

Would be nice if there was a way to report them and it puts them on automatic black list with button click. It can say you're reporting so and so for whatever is this correct and then as soon as you say yes boom blacklist. Think it was Ragnarok 2 that had a spam report option that did this that I played while waiting for ffxiv lol
I think its funny 90% of the servers are locked & about half the people fighting to get on are probably RMT's. While the chat thing is annoying the amount of people on the "I hate gil buyers train" is laughable. Heads up for the people who are new to FFXIV but never played FF11 (85% of FFXI players either buy gil, sell gil or do neither but don't care if others do) so don't be in shock if people aren't that hidden about it over Vent/TS/ w/e VoIP you use.
While you think it's funny, I find it abominable that you seem to either think it's ok, or just don't give damn. I'm not in shock that it's happening because it's the same in every MMO, not just FF:XI and FF:XIV. What does shock me is the game hasn't even been live for a week. Same thing happened in SWTOR, less than a week. I wouldn't mind it so much except they ruin the game community economy. People jack their prices up because they know some kid with a credit card will pay insane prices because they just bought their in game money from a website. That's probably the biggest reason I quit WoW. I did so much work trying to earn a flying mount and while other people just came in the game with a max level toon and flying around and wiping dungeon runs because they didn't have a clue how to play their role. Then later down the road when I decided to work a craft, I had to pay several gold to by materials only worth a few silver pieces. It got ridiculous.I think its funny 90% of the servers are locked & about half the people fighting to get on are probably RMT's. What about "boxers" in the game? Can anything be done about that? I already saw someone playing four toons at once. It looked like someone was doing Johnny Cage's Shadow Kick. One Arcanist with three echoing shadows all run to the same NPC, then attack the same monster doing the exact same spells and movements, just an echo of the first.
Some people think this is perfectly legal because they're allowed to have multiple accounts. The thing is, why would anyone want four exact copies of the same character? Because they're using the game to make real world money! They will gold farm until they get bored and then sell their max level toons for a profit as well. There has to be a way to detect this sort of thing and ban them.
