Easier to do a mass ban of gil buyers to resolve the issue. If no one buys illicit drugs in this country, there wouldn't be a market, and there wouldn't be many dealers. It's that simple. The problem is, like drugs, people who buy gil are repeat offenders, and will do it anytime, anywhere, as they have no concept of right and wrong. As long as their reward portion of their brain is fulfilled, they don't give a sh*t, especially if they have money.I'm sorry, I WANT AN IP BAN for everyone not playing within the regions of our datacenter, OR I want live-monitoring of all city chats in 1 chat log and 1 SE employee monitoring it all. They would MAKE MONEY by doing this because gil sellers 50% of the time they just buy a new CD key. It's a self-sustainable solution, hint hint SE

This right here! *yells* hey developers are you reading the first sentence? i can black list all the spam all i want, but if they are going to delete their toon and make a new one then it renders the black list obsolete. At least World of Warcraft implements a "report spam" system same with SWTOR which in turn takes care of the problem with haste. This whole macro for blacklisting spammers doesn't fix the problem, it just ignores a name that will be deleted with in a few minutes to make a new one to do the same thing over again. Find a way to ban their IP if i can ban an IP from my website why can't this company with tons more money than i have do the same? /whine /rant
How do you report them.. i've just been blacklisting them all. I must have atleast 10
The same two naked miners have been running around the first mining spawn point outside uldah on my server farming crystals non-stop since I joined the game. In December.
Not really sure how this has gone unnoticed, but I really don't feel like it's my job to be the police and run around reporting obvious bots to the developers.

Two weeks ago there were 4 RMTs using BTN in Bentbranch Meadows. They had the same first name but different last names, and the names they had were Chinese. They were running around gathering points with the Sprint ability always on. They had the same character models and gear on. The one out of the four was just standing in one spot for 2 hours. I was doing some battlecraft leves with my alternate character when I witnessed this. Luckily (I couldn't write the names down fast enough), I took pictures of the RMT to get their names since they were running around crazy. I then contacted a GM (I did not get a direct response), gave the names, what they were doing, and everything in the report. I then went back the next day and they were gone. It was strange with how they were moving. It's a good thing that mounts aren't so easily to obtain now like the Goobbue mount in 1.0. RMTs were abusing that mount while spamming leves in Cedarwood in La Noscea.
Other games to parts of these. It would be nice if this game did all.
Chat window way of reporting spam. Some games capture the last 10 or so lines and sends it as the report. Or just have that specific line of text sent along with it. The game knows exactly where you are, what server, and if the message was a tell or shout. If shout, then it also sends along the zone info as well.
This also blacklists the character. It also blacklists the entire account.
Blacklist shows those that were added by this feature. If for some reason you want to or need to clean it up, you know if you are removing a spammer or just some d-bag.
When a character gets deleted, it is auto-removed from the blacklist.
When an account gets perma-banned, they get auto-removed as well.
