The pressure to skip cut-scenes!

There is absolutely nothing selfish about watching cutscenes. They are part of the dungeon. They were designed this way and no matter how you try to justify skipping them, you are wrong.

It is technically "selfish" if we're going to be absolutely correct with semantics here, but it's nothing to feel bad about. Not nearly as bad as it is to tell someone to skip them. You don't really want to fight a boss before knowing what the fuck happened and how you got there. Its stupid.

Ahh, seems SE doesn't learn. This has been a problem since version 1.0 and they still refuse to add some wait mechanic like they have on dungeon bosses...

Meh, SE should just remove the ability to skip the CS, then everyone would be even, lol.

Wow it is so sad that so many get upset over waiting a few minutes for a CS to play out in a GAME, that is supposed to be played for FUN.

Life would be so sweet if all we had to worry about was that, I would rather leave my stressing out for RL and not a GAME.

No, that's not accurate. There is a simple method to determine the 'correct' way, and that is to see what will happen if you take no additional action whatsoever. If you enter a story dungeon and take no additional action whatsoever, the cutscene will play. You (the player) have to force it to skip the cutscene. Therefore, Slambo is entirely correct in saying that 'they are part of the dungeon'.

If, OTOH, the default was to enter a dungeon and a little comment prompt popped up that read "There is an optional cutscene, would you like to view it (y/n)?" then you, Rymia, would be correct.

As it is a simple determinant, the response is likewise similar. You have no right to demand additional action from another player who is playing their game in the intended manner.

actually you can see all the CS anytime you want all you have to do is go to your inn room and read the book on table the unending story, the story of your characters life watch through all the cs if you want.

I'm going to watch it if I want to watch it, oh look the 15s timer went off, oh well. Do I care that they wipe if i'm not in the room, No I do not, Want to know why? Because I want to enjoy what i'm playing. I will not rush for the sake of others if it hurts my enjoyment of the game. I had a grate group today to do the last dungeon, they let people take the time to watch the CS' while the others waited. Its called common courtesy, learn to have some.

Both of these statements are retarded. It's a duty finder. In a DF, no terms are expected, random people are selected. DF is a fallback when you cannot get a group together with your guild or friends.

Want to speed run? Join a guild. In particular, join a guild that has that attitude about its goals. For the other end, ignore them. Again, it's DF. Don't come on here and bitch about it.

soon as the maintenance finishes, going to have to re run the last 2 lv 50 dungeons because of jerks demanding to skip the cutscenes...
went back to the Inn to watch the movies and all the cutscenes are NOT in the book, so missed out...
