The pressure to skip cut-scenes!

I said fk it and watched my cutscenes. If they want to run off and die or initiate a boss fight 1 healer short then power to them I'll watch from the seal as they die. Even when running it multiple times I will rewatch the cutscenes if we have any new people doing it for story completion. I love tomes as much as the next but story > everything so I refuse to skip or allow others to pressure others into skipping cutscenes.

If they want to speed run it and skip all cutscenes then they are free to get 7 other like minded individuals from their own server and speedrun their hearts out all day.

"Half"? Even if there's only one guy who didn't see the cutscenes yet, he has the full right to watch them and enhoy the story.

Well, yes, that is my belief as well. As a healer, I will always sit my furry tail back with a person watching the cut scenes and either watch them with them, or just wait. In a 4 person dungeon my refusal to move on carries a BIT more weight, of course... But I will do it in any and all of the 8man content, too. Speed running will never, ever, take precedence over someone watching the story to me. If I'm short on time I just don't do something I know takes a particular amount of time. That is on me, not a person wanting to enjoy the story and I have zero right to take that away from anyone. EVER.

My saying 'half the group' was just pointing out that it wasn't just 'one or two people holding up the group' for those that seem to think their desire to skip stuff trumps people enjoying what the devs took a very long time to create. Not an indication that it takes a particular number to make it 'okay'.

Of course, the attitude and actions, along with immature words from Coke Zero(Goblin server) has just ensured that I will do most of those dungeons with a set party of FC people instead of queuing up as a healer to help pugs get pops. So grats to the childish immature 'brave behind a keyboard' people... it is because of people like you that queues are as long as they are... tanks and healers don't want to deal with your crap.

The only cutscene I skipped for later was the second change of phases in the ultima fight because it begins without waiting for you. No one's making my skip my cutscenes. Each player plays at his pace.

Cutscenes should be unskippables. Easy fix, and that would teach those speed runners that cant spare a few minutes.

SE plight was all about "limit stress for new players". Lol I wonder how a new players would feel after going through this bad experience.

Those people had to wait 30min to 1hour to get a PUG and they can't handle 1 or 2min cutscenes ?
I hope they can handle the fight by themselves or they will enjoy another ride in the queue, waiting for another healer.
