The pressure to skip cut-scenes!

I find it incredibly rude and annoying when doing content for the first time people ask you to skip all the cut-scenes. I can fully understand that it may be a little frustrating to the players repeating the content but you should take that up with Square.

I did not buy a Final Fantasy game to skip the story. "Watch them on YouTube" Pretty sure my character wont feature in any videos on YouTube. I do not wish to view these scenes in crappy YouTube quality either.

The scenes that play in dungeons can not be viewed at the inn room. If this was made possible then I would be happy to skip scenes. I also think the timer should be paused when a player is viewing a cut-scene.

So I ask Square to reconsider how these scenes are delivered in the game and I ask the players to be a little more considerate of other peoples feelings. Some of us actually play games to enjoy the story.

Get to 50 and try to do Castrum or Praetorium for your story while there's people there running for tombstones.

It is in the level 50 dungeons, that people want to speed through for quick tombstones.

It's just uninformed jerks re-running praetorium instead of Castrum for Allagan tokens. Watch your cut scenes and ignore them.

Castrum is faster, they should be doing that anyway.

Well this thread was finally made!

Possible solutions:

1: When CS is triggered, warp everyone to a specific area (like in front of the boss sealing mechanism) and seal everyone in like when you enter the dungeon until everyone is out of CS.
2: Prioritize grouping players who have never done it before together and group tombstone farmers/beaten it already together.

One rude person watching a cutscene and holding up seven others ruins the fun of the seven people being forced to wait on someone else.
