The pressure to skip cut-scenes!

Just go to the inn and watch them....nothing is more annoying then 7 people twiddling their thumbs for 2-3 mins so some RPer can watch every second of every scene when he can easily do that after in the inn on his own time.

Way to ruin game immersion, next time ill be sure to not even click threw cutscenes when im asked to and leave my char sitting there in the duty.

I expierienced this crap the first time today beating the main quest line also. Funny it was also the douchebags that kept laying there dead while the new commers were on point. What are they gonna do about it other then whine like this loser^

Yes it does go both ways. You might not always group with a first timer however and then you can rush all you like. If you are put with someone who is doing it for their story I think the respectable thing to do is to just suck it up and let them enjoy their game.

I'm playing a tank so they can whine all they want they are gonna have to wait. If i was playing dps i'd tell em to quit whining and either wait or go on without me and i'll catch up.

I find it incredibly rude and annoying when doing content for the first time people ask you to skip all the cut-scenes.

I did not buy a Final Fantasy game to skip the story. "Watch them on YouTube" Pretty sure my character wont feature in any videos on YouTube. I do not wish to view these scenes in crappy YouTube quality either.

Just keep in mind that you are playing a game, which you should enjoy to the fullest at your own pace. Once the group enters the dungeon, they can see which of the party members is currently watching a cutscene. They should have the courtesy to wait a minute or two until everyone is ready to go. If not to let the party members in question watch the cutscene in peace, then to at least ask them if this is their first time in the dungeon and give a run-down on the dungeon so that people know what to expect.

There is plenty of time to finish the dungeon and waiting for a minute or 2 doesn't hurt anybody. A regular introduction cutscene of a dungeon takes less then 30 seconds.

Battles like the primal battles do not start until you attack them or get into aggro range. A dungeon doesn't start until everyone has finished watching the cutscene.

Watching CS in inn is NOT the same as watching them when they should be watched. Its those speedrunning elitist pricks that are ruining new players fun that can never be replaced.
Gather full party manually if u dont want first timers.

Although i agree matching first timers with other first timers should be prioritized, in any party content, as strategy briefing is also some kind of spoiler.

I'm with Akira-Tenshi, would be nice if they added a check box just like start the dungeon mid-way in Duty Finder for those wanting just to speed run.

Let the new players, first time players enjoy the cut scenes without being rushed, my wife rushes me... watch it later, you need to get ready to tank... /sigh ><

hmmmmmmm. to all you CS haters and people that complain about having to wait. I wish I could watch the CS 2 times.........in the instance.
everyone has something to say I understand that but complaining about CSs come on lol all because your in a hurry and dont want to wait for the first timers.

This exact reason is why I will fight endlessly to make sure Vote Kick is very regulated or never added. No one should get kicked or pressured for enjoying the game. I'm done with the story but I'll be watching the cutscenes in full from now on to make sure my party gets to enjoy the full game. Go to my innroom and watch them? Why don't you go to your innroom and cry about it?
