Yeah in swtor you get more pressure then in this game, but i get where you come from. Just let them cry about it and enjoy your game.

You havent done Bahamuts coil or hard mode primals much have you?

if someone wants to farm those two dungeons they can do it with their own group of friends... if it's someone's first time they shouldn't be bullied into either skipping the cutscenes of have to deal with missing half of the fights

i'm sure whenever the next WoW update comes out most of these people will be gone... at least temporarily

What makes the group who wants to watch every CS more important then the group that wants a quick run?
You call people farming it entitled because they ask you to skip and not make us wait but you also think you are important and special enough to hold up seven other people to do it your way. I would define that as entitled.
Why is it rude to tell someone to skip, but not rude to make up to seven other people wait for you?
Why should the duty finder only be used to support your way of play and not those farming?, Why should people be expected to form their own groups to farm and not use the duty finder? Maybe people who want to spend 40 minutes watching cutscenes should have to form their own groups and those of us after quick tomestones should use the duty finder.
There are two sides to every coin and both sides have some valid points but people who think they are important enough to make seven other people wait for their own benefit are just as selfish and entitled as people who want them to skip it so they can farm quicker for their own benefit. The only difference is there is more often then not 5-6 people being held up by 1-2.
Frankly the high and mighty in this thread is pretty amazing the people who are throwing around worlds like "entitled", "elitist", and "selfish" could do with a mirror. And you all got butthurt about it when i applied your same argument to yourselves.
You are not some special little snowflake and sitting there watching a CS and wasting seven other peoples time has a negative impact on their fun, their gaming experience is made less enjoyable because of your actions. That is the very thing you accuse the "rushers" of doing.
Being a WHM i've done both runs, I've farmed with semi/full premade groups and i've helped people finish their story(DD queue is pretty bad healer is instant).
With random's i'll go with the majority if most skip and go ahead then so do I, if most sit and watch a CS then i tab to reddit/netflix on my other screen for the 5-10 minutes there going to be wasting off the timer and/or explain the fight if people ask/mention their new.
EDIT: I thought about answering the logged in/afk question but would you believe an answer different to the one you are hoping to catch people out on?

I do this thing where I ignore people and not care what they think when viewing scenes for the first time. Try it.

I play the game my way. If I've never seen the CS before, you better damn well know I am gonna watch it. I paid fo the game, and pay to play it, I am not going to be told how to enjoy it. We are all there to do the dungeon, and we all know there a re cutscenes, we all know there might be someone who hasn't seen them yet, so in that sense we should be prepared to wait a few measly minutes.

Someone on this thread needs to calm down lol, taking gaming way too seriously.
I don't mind people watching cut scenes but there is a time people should know to skip them. Did the last mission and my party insisted we watch cut scene even though it would have saved us time if we skipped. Ended up wiping to one of the boss a few times and finally made it the last boss with less than 15 min. On the final phase we were down to 3 min left and still had two people watching cut scene. Luckily the other 6 people went ahead and pulled out the win for them. Had the two people been tanks time would have expired.

I group with mostly JP/Asian/Oceania players and I haven't experienced this much. The bit I HAVE experienced it with is when I group with only English speaking players and I end up getting tanks that want to run through the dungeon as fast as they can as if this game is WoW. I really don't like it when people are just trying to speed run dungeons. I like that the cutscenes can kind of break things up and force you to slow down a bit. Most of them are not very long anyway.
