    These aren't the IT people--they are in Canada. The people who are off are the guys that manage reports and such---the liasons between us and the various departments at SE (accounting, IT, Development, etc.).     We still got news , in english , about their JP server log in errors , if they can do that they can find a way to tell us " We found this and that error on the server or the launcher and we will try to fix them soon , tomorrow or wait during maintenance of wednesday " But we have simply nothing.

    Hang on if the NA staff are off for Labour Day, what about the EU staff?

    And if someone is going to tell me SE can remotely debug their server then there shouldn't be any reason for customer service to be down as majority of the globe isn't celebrating Labour Day.
    I know in the UK we don't have Labour Day for certain. We have Bank holidays and people still go to work on these days.

    and tell me why when I called last week with a sound error I was told "To buy a fucking hearing aid a not to fucking call back" then thay hung up on me that was after I waited on hold a few hours

    because all teh issues you are having this morning are all tied in to the same issues. The fixes that they are going to implement on the 4th is going to fix the 90k errors the 1017s the 2002 and so on these systems all rely on the data centers which are being upgraded to handle the huge influx of people trying to access the lobby, log in servers and queue system.

    That's the point some of us were trying to make he other day in a thread about them taking the holiday here.

    The community team is responsible for taking a regions complaints to the proper department. We don't have anyone to file a complaint directly to today for the NA/EU region... JP region does. So, we have to rely on someone picking it up here from the forums.

    Which becomes a real problem when someone starts a new thread trying to get attention on an issue. All the new thread spam complaining about other stuff keeps rolling things off the front page. For instance, I started a thread yesterday about the .158 server connectivity failing and how it seems to be linked to Lobby errors. It's doing it again, so I tried to pull it to the front again... it was gone from the front page in MINUTES.

    So, basically... we are left hanging unless someone watching the forums manages to get things passed along the chain so action can be taken on an issue. It's just going to be a longer process than normal going through the forums because we don't have that direct link to the help desk atm.

    How do they know that ? The lobby error started happening only this morning and been broken for a good 4 hours now. SO you are telling me SE planned before even know that their maintenance will fix everything ? That sure sound like false promises the way you put it. The maintenance was announced for the increase in servers capacity , stability in the DF Server and new worlds , they can't know in advance what error will surface , like this morning with a lobby error. And IF they were going to fix this with the maintenance of tomorrow , wouldn't it be polite to let us know they are aware of the problems and will fix them today , tomorrow or during the maintenance ? Yes it would be , just like they are doing with the JP , they are getting a maintenance too and they are still getting informed about new problems , why not us ? Stop trying to be the white knight here i support and love SE but their lack of communication with their NA/EU community is just horrible at this point.

    You all realize that their Japanese customers are MUCH more loyal right? They aren't like American ADHD players, who play a game for two weeks, power through to max level, then complain about lack of content and don't sub. Japanese players were the major reason why XI was actually profitable. So if SE shows a little biased, I think they have good reason to.
