    ...Obviously there is a different team for programming in game features and another team for bringing up the new servers... Priority needs to be getting people into the game, then working on improving it..... SOOOoo, Saying it will be implemented after current plans is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I fail to see how SE is addressing the issue immediately? Saying "oh we will have it fixed eventually" really is only a pacification.

    Its not the problem. The problem is the server infrastructure. Once its fixed it won't matter if people don't log out.

    Never mattered in FFXI or FFXIV 1.0 and it won't in 2.0 once the servers are fixed.

    People are screaming for the wrong solution like whiny babies because they can't wait 2 more days.

    As I recall it was first optional, and second customizable - not hard set to 15 minutes. That would be incredibly rediculous.

    People are acting as if auto booting a small number of afkers would suddenly make it so they didn't have to wait in que to get in game. Check out the numbers of concurrent users that they've posted. They weren't ready for this. People log out and immediately their spot is taken, and people are still waiting.

    The priority needs to be on making it possible to have MANY more concurrent users and fixing the duty finder so people aren't sitting around waiting on it. AFKing (literal) isn't as big an issue as some are making it.

    I have characters on 4 different servers and haven't seen afkers in any large number... in fact I haven't seen any.

    Yup, every time I see someone complain about not being able to get in it makes me laugh. At least they told us when and what they are doing to fix the problem. If you are not aware that they are making server changes in a few days then you cant read.

    AFK kick feature will be pointless. People are assuming that AFK is the problem and it's not. Every single time I've been in a que, it didn't matter where I was at(highest I've seen is like 160ish)within a minute I was logged in. This shows people are constantly logging out just like they are logging in. Unless something is very wrong with the log in que, one must presume people are taking the time to log out of the game, when they aren't being kicked out by the system when a problem arrises, that is. The problem here is the login que was ill-equipped to handle the demand. I've never seen more than 160ish people in que, and usually when I get through to the que, I see like 35 people. It's really sad how hard the log in que fails.

    I don't like auto kick features in MMOs, and no, they are not the standard unless it's a freebie game. It should be a last resort option for a pay game.

    Yea please put this AFK kicker in game, what is the point staying in the game without playing/chatting/moving around?

    You guys shouldn't wait on implementing the AFK kick. You can work on it in tandem with server optimizations. I promise you, getting the AFK kick in place will greatly help the strain on the servers and it will make many players happy which will reduce some of the extreme negative word of mouth and reputation surrounding this game.

    You're a true idiot if you think that's the problem. The problem is a fixed set of "seats". AFK players take up those seats that could've been used by someone with more activity. This is a game to be played, not a game to sit in idly. The f*ck is wrong with people's reading comprehension.
