If you're not gonna play while your queued then please logout and let other people play. Because there's no difference between this and the other AFKers.I disagree with a afk timer especially at 20-30mins.. thats to low ppl paying for the game will get even more upset when sitting around waiting for a duty to finally que up which has recently been taking upwards of a hr+ and poof o u have been kicked for inactivity? GTFO i would be steemed as hell

ALL I WANT is to PLAY...
Its my BDAY have the day OFF and i cant do the one thing i been looking forward to do, all week... Play all day
i WANT to PLAY

Major issues lie within server inadequacies, not people that goes afk.
I'm not justifying the people that goes afk. But we shouldn't entirely blame the players when SE is so comically shortsighted.
What choice do the players have when they know they won't be able to login without half an hour of attempt, at night after coming home from work?
Player
That makes no sense. How can implementing an AFK timeout be "drastic"? So, Log in restrictions and stopping character creations and stopping digital sales of the game are not? It would make sense to try the simpler fixes first like trying for the AFK timeout before the servers to see if it helps.
WOW has one and they are very successful and I've never heard anyone complain about it.
I think staying logged in while you are at work and school is selfish and inconsiderate. The entitlement attitude of people who think they should just be able to do whatever is ridiculous.

well ppl will just find a way around that to if they want by laying contorller down to run in circles ect ect but like i said when im waiting on a main quest dungeon to finally que up and sit here and read the forums (as i am now) or go grab a sandwich or wtvr knowing that its messed up to think i would get booted during that time is horrible and will make allot of people angry sorry i just dont see it ... personally i dont have problems logging in as i am not dumb enough to log in during "primetime" i simply log in before or after ... never been stuck in a que longer then a few mins never had a problem really other then the initial servers down.. anyhow i am all for kicking ppl who are sleeping or wtvr but 30 mins is to low unless u make it so they are doing absolutly nothing including that they arent in a que but lets face it those who want to get around it will and they pay for the game so hey wtvr
so you que up a Duty finder then just leave for over a half hour? cause I personally would que up and at least check back every few minutes if not run around killing random thingswell ppl will just find a way around that to if they want by laying contorller down to run in circles ect ect but like i said when im waiting on a main quest dungeon to finally que up and sit here and read the forums (as i am now) or go grab a sandwich or wtvr knowing that its messed up to think i would get booted during that time is horrible and will make allot of people angry sorry i just dont see it ......etc...

Here's the thing.. WoW has a timer and no one resorts to something that ludicrous just to stay logged in. It's not a problem and no one complains about it. If anyone is complaining here and disagreeing with it now, it's because they're using the AFK route to abuse the system. While it's nice that we were updated, SE takes the 'wait and see' approach to how their adjustments are being made, in the meantime they are losing people by the minute. They should have implemented this already, even if it is only labeled as a TEMPORARY solution. They know that there are players abusing the situation, and yet do nothing about it regardless of the masses of angry, upset customers. Which does nothing but make them angrier and less likely to stick with the game.
It just doesn't make sense to me.
depends on the duty and no not for a half hr.. and i normally dont just leave especially not for a half hr.. but i'll turn on the tv and keep an eye on it or browse forums and keep eye on it waitint gofr it to pop... i mean the dungeons take the longest and usually ur in the middle of nowhere lol
Seriously, the AFK limit should have been the first thing put in to place before even buying new servers. And players should be a little more considerate than to stay permanently logged in and preventing everyone else from going in. I tried making a character in several worlds but none are ever open at any time. I haven't played this game once since launch. They need to limit the time a player can be AFK or limit the time length people can be in game until the new servers are up so everyone can get a chance to play. This is just ridiculous right now.
I mean it won't even let me queue up and wait, just "Sorry buddy, you can't play. Try later." Yoshi made a nice apology but still, this was poorly handled.
