I also added a few other references I found. Bacchus Wine from FF in general, The airship minion is modeled after the invincible, etc. I also moved the Judges reference to Tactics since Judges were in Tactics first.

Really? I remember the seen, but if he used the word "Sin" are you sure he was referencing Sin from FFX? I think he was using it as a regular term.

there was the "totema" every race was able to summon one, this is similar to Primals who every Beastclan summon the one who worship

In the waking sands in Vesper Bay their is an NPC Lalafel named 'Tataru'. 'Tarutaru' was the name of the Lalafel race in FFXI

I re-formatted the main post for easier reading. I also created a new section for "Possible References". If you guys see something on that list and think it belongs in the main list, let your voice be heard. If the opinion is popular, I'll concede and move it on up. I also added about 5-6 more references edited into AranWade's earlier post.

A re-occuring name throughout the series, but most would probably recognize it from FFVII, is the name 'Highwind' shows up as the name of Highwind Skyways, the name of the airship company in Eorzea.

Additionally, Cid's surname in FFXIV, Garlond, is slightly modified reference to Garland, the main antagonist of FFI, and an antagonist in FFIX (it's pronounced the same anyway).
