QUEUE is Failing / Error 1017

I get locked out as well, however repeatedly attempting to log into a character has worked so far for me. Usually takes me 10-15 minutes, but it does work. Given this works for a very large number of people is saying that they're at a max capacity, not that there's an error bug or something. I except them to have an auto-disconnect function, or an increase in the max capacity of the servers implemented soon.

This worked for me the past two days but I must have been lucky. I've been at it for an hour straight with two queues that turned into an error.

I've not had a queue turn into an error yet. I get the error for about 15 minutes or so, then I hit the queue and it lets me in within a matter of seconds.

Then you are indeed a lucky one. I've gotten into a queue once in the last three days, i was in that queue for about ten minutes before it booted me and gave me the 1017 error.

I wonder if it might be specific to certain servers then. I will say that I cannot get past the error on my character on adamantoise, but I made a new character on fairie and so far I've hit the error, then it lets me hit the queue and log in.

I do have a feeling they will add an auto-disconnect soon, because people on this server have been stating over /sh in the cities that they will not log out due to these issues, which means that pretty soon this server will be locked down entirely. I'm wondering if this might be what's happening on other servers as well.. A large enough congestion could make the servers just go "wtf" and generate a large number of bugs and issues.

This has completely gotten out of hand now. I understand the trials of launch day but seeing as this has been going on through early access as well without seemingly any thought paid to the issue, I begin to wonder if they just assume we will blindly keep playing in the hopes it gets better. The game is amazing so I will give it until I have to actually pay for my membership, but the blind faith is rapidly deteriorating.
