QUEUE is Failing / Error 1017

I was playing but my power strip got disconnected from wall so I lost power to router and modem, been trying to log in and only once I seen the queue pop but otherwise I been getting the 1017 error

Okay I found an announcement on this issue on a link from the game launcher. It's linked to to many people attempting to log in at the same time, so they are aware of the problem, and should be working on a way to resolve it.

Hmm.. did they restrict NA/EU access to the JP servers, or did the JP servers go offline? If they did go offline, well.. That means less slots because some of them may filter over to our servers to try and log in.

I'm also having this problem. I"m not upset, I just know it is happening, I see 38 pages of other people saying it is happening, and I think it would be nice if Square actually said something about it. Let us know when it is fixed.

The issue we're trying to report here is twofold:
1) We are getting an Error 1017 without even being placed in a queue
2) Even if we are in a queue, it is possible for us to receive, completely randomly, an Error 1017 and get booted from the queue, forced back to the start screen... where we again may or may not be able to be placed directly into the queue.

The post you linked references neither of those situations.

To SE community reps: Yoshi-P, in one of his early mission statements, said that one of the goals was to eliminate "stressfulness" from MMO play. I can tell you right now, that it is stressful to have to continually click the mouse or press X on the controller in order to maybe connect to the game. It is even more stressful to make it into a queue, only to get kicked out because of an error. Please pass this feedback on to the dev team, and please, please, please acknowledge that you guys even know this is happening. Thank you.

Yet another fail queue; mostly 1017s, but the three times today I've gotten to queue, I 1017 in queue (15, ~85, and 129 remaining, respectfully, at time of 1017).
Now, I understand 1017 is the "We are limiting user load to the server" error, but I was under the apparent misunderstanding that making it to the queue meant I got past the 1017 error point; thus why I think queue and then 1017 is a bug.

Doesn't even put me in queue it just gives me the 1017. How many days does it take to fix this? I don't buy a game to not be able to play it.
