That wouldn't really work, because it's still an apology from a Japanese person that is used to apologizing to other Japanese people. "I'm sorry you guys can't play our game. We're trying to make it so you can play" can only be translated in so many ways, and the base meaning behind the words won't be enough to calm everybody down.

No, I mean the translator could ask for the information that would more satisfy us, possible details. Details to the JPs would sound more like excuses which is why they are likely lacking.

Their 90k isn't fixed. Every 10sec I was going LD on the server and boom 90k error. So I call BS on that

I'm trying hard to keep calm as my husband and I really enjoyed what we saw in beta. But I have had to tell my sister and other friends showing interest to not buy this until SE gets things fixed. I don't want them to waste their money

Problem is still not resolved. The root issue is no transparency / weak communication by Square Enix.

Unless there has been a turnaround and we are getting frequent updates which provide crystal clarity on what is going on and what is being done ... the apology means nothing.

the 90k error is actually caused by the lagg. whenever the server laggs and you interact with something thats lagging like an npc you will get 90k error.
if they fix the lagg then they fix the error and remove the 1017. but who knows how long it will take...

with the way how things are going, it looks like SE is going to repeat what happened in 1.0 and that's not charge anything until they get their shit straight, and by the time that happens it will mark the death of FFXIV 2.0

Do they even know that people are just afking and leaving thier computer on? so they dont take chance of not getting back on when they can play? you should really impalement a "away status" and if they away for longer then 30 mins to 1 hour they get kicked out of server..people are going sleep with their FFXIV char on and staying afk.. i see shit load of people doing it.
