When i login there it calls me raijitsu even though my forum handle is Claire, and I have a different actual user name that i type to login.

When I log into there, it calls me MoroGaias, my actual username. I've never used the name Naazgul, ever... :x This is why I was like "Ohhh hey, hold on... something is wrong here"

It is real. If in doubt, use the original email with the original link and go there and type in the original pre-order code and it will work (if you havent already)

I got one too. I also got two emails of EU codes before that. Prior to that I registered successfully with an entirely different code. I'm gonna say the one that's successful was the correct code and ignore the rest.

Dude, read it again, its saying it was already reset. This is so that when you enter your 6-3-6-3 code it wont give the same EU code as before and will instead generate a new NA code (for those of us who were affected). Please read it. Stop the tin foil hat stuff.

Jesus Christ... it isn't telling you to reset anything.

It plainly states that THEY Have reset your code. I.e. your 18 digit code code was previously set to provide a 20 digit EU code on use, it has been reset to provide an NA code.

It's telling you to RE-ENTER your initial 18 digit code to get your region appropriate 20 digit EA/Bonus code.

what you arent seeing is the other posts where the link the OP posted is a fake.. so yeah, dont worry. i was just supporting the OP telling you guys there are phishing emails that people want your account, but that's ok.. obviously no one needs a warning

What on Earth are you talking about? Absolutely NO ONE has proven that any of the links in these emails are fake. The best some people have done is say they "look suspicious".

The "suspicious" noreply@email-square-enix.com address that people using who.is swear must be a fake? The SAME EXACT address is used to send out SE's monthly newsletter.

The "suspicious" link.email-square-enix.com format used for all of the links? The SAME EXACT format used for every single link in every single one of SE's monthly newsletters.

A cursory glance through my inbox has newsletters from this address with the same formatting going back at least as far as October 2012, if this is a phishing attempt it is one hell of an investment carefully crafting believable official newsletters just to steal a password 10 months later.

I got the e-mail as well and it's legit. Yesterday I got 3 e-mails that were confirmations of my EA code 2 days late. In one of them I had an EU code and in the other two the NA code. This email is probably just a late reminder for those that received an EU code even if they have already received and redeened the correct code.
